I love buying my leather by the foot from yall. It's always been what I expected and great quality. I'm a small leather business and cant really afford to buy whole hides at this time.

First off glad yall are making videos again. Secondly, I'm happy happy yall sell by the square foot. As a small business just starting out I'm able to try out many different leathers without commiting to a whole hide.

Which is exactly why Kevin had the great idea of selling it this way! So glad you agree. :)

I was told that the footage number on a side of leather is measured by computer, isn't it? Some hide shapes are better value than others. Looking at a hide in real life, you can tell if your project will fit; you explain this really well.

I'm strictly a small time leather hobbyist and buy from Springfield on a fairly regular basis. I've never been disappointed in any piece of leather Springfield has sent me.

I never had any issues and for what I make, belts, I buy double shoulders that are a minimum of 62 inches wide at a shoulder's widest spot and you guys pick them out for me. I also bought some Hermann Oak half shoulders on sale and you didn't charge me extra to split it to 3-4 oz for wallets. I don't usually make wallets, but get requests for them from time to time.

Thanks for the info I now know how to make a better order from now on I'll just order a half or a whole side, and I'll probably call to do so.

I've always had good luck buying small chunks of leather, especially when I'm trying out new (to me) types. Also, I find that sending an email for specific needs saves major grief for both of us! Buying 5 to 10 ft at a time helps my bank account at this point of my business, s THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

Thank you Kevin and Heather🤗 Since I have become a SLC customer, I have been extremely happy with every purchase. So whomever is cutting my pieces, I love the amount I am getting for my money. My only complaint is cheaper double shoulders in both single and double pieces. 😉

@@SpringfieldLeather thank you. My local store is Tandy - Columbus Ohio. Lately I've noticed a change in personality of the seasoned staff, so I started to look for other sources. They claim to like Veterans but I noticed when I enter no one approaches me to make me feel welcome. They have their favorites that they play up to. Considering I have spent thousands since my first purchase in July of 2018, I noticed I'm lucky if I get a hello. So when they are the only ones selling craftsmen Vegas tan in double shoulders 4-6 oz for $39.99 or 7-9 oz for $44.99, decent quality (no blemishes or holes), I wish I could find someone else with a cheaper price or a good price & free shipping. How much for all of that.

I have ordered almost 30 square feet from you guys... I have never found a piece that I didn't like. I really appreciate what you do and I will absolutely continue to look to you guys first and always when I need quality leather. Are there particular dimensions that are more easy to cut? Like say, 1sqft is awkward every time, but 4sqft is always easy to cut, that kind of thing?

Well thank you!! To answer your questions, it kinda depends on the hide honestly. We suggest customers tell us exactly what they need and then we can adjust to that.

She is a lead in that department and Kevin asked her to join. Then she didn't know what to say.

Is Heather single?

The guy seems to be over-explaining things...probably not very good at customer service. The girl gives zero benefit to the video. She looks like she doesn't now what she's doing, being in the video.
