Whenever the bausffs is mention, this never fails to show up

Baus’ playstyle is probably the most unique I’ve seen. He uses fog of war to predict enemy movements and uses R to disengage, combo with his Q or run it down to the Nexus. His Sion is a threat to KR soloqueue.

Also to mention, Sion's w passive grants 4 health for every unit he kills that's why he focuses to keep 10cs/min and this is also the reason he kills crugs and raptors so often but not gromp. And pressing R2 before it lands on the enemies is also cruciual, you have more time to oneshot them and it still cc's enemy and pulls them to you if you press it at the right time.

it’s called Sion Slam or Sion Ulti cancel animation. If you press R+R there’s like 1 second delay before you can press R again to SLAM your ultimate. Meanwhile If you pressed R+Q It will instantly cancel your ult animation and slam it. Note: The reason why thebaus cancels his ult whenever he’s about to hit the enemy because sion R2 Has a slam animation and it will have a longer stun duration.

Two things to keep in note: 1) the Baus is insane at this strat. Some people copy him and get high elo like d+ but for most it’s really hard because it needs a lot of practice. 2) I’ve watched a lot of his streams in Korea. These guys don’t know wtf to do against him. Like they have no idea. In EUW where I play, a lot of the challenger players are better at punishing baus than on the KR server. Literally no one in high elo have experienced this. Baus solo end the game if they don’t deal with him. This rarely happens on EUW since people in high elo know baus.

Usually, not always! Keep in mind that there are enemy comps where he takes steelcaps or mercs, and when he's tank he builds berserkers sometimes

especially against matchups where spacing and kiting is important, for ex: vs aatrox, the swiftness helps against aatrox's w slow and he can just walk out of it no problem and it helps dodging qs in general

Not sure but I think you are practically immune to slows during Phase Rush if you have Swiftness. Swiftness - 25% slow reduction, Phase Rush - 75% slow reduction. I said "practically" because it's probably not 75% + 25% = 100%.

Baus also said that in KR solo q, playing ultra safe is the key to win lane. He plays very safe for the first 5 mins, making the enemy panic because there is no interaction at all(no fights at all can be tilting for me) and can result on making mistakes.

Bauss has really good macro. He frequently shows up at big teamfights, he never just sidelanes all game. He has a really finely honed sense of when to help his team and when to push solo.

So thebauss has been playing patiently in high elo because he says the Koreans are so aggro they don't know how to play against patient players. He was stuck in diamond until he figured that out.

Another counter is jax, as he is permabanning it all the time. He said he never ever won vs jax in all his lifetime. The Kingen match (where he didn't ban jax and goes 7 deaths early) is where he explains how tough it is vs jax

Jax is just a revolting champion, it is very good at bullying weaker champs early and scales insanely well through base values alone. Its also one of the generally most unfun champs to play against because unlike most other stat checkers, Jax has a gap closer

the double stun R is not a bug, is just that of you release R before hitting an enemy the ult does a longer duration knock up and then proceeds with the stun, thats the only way sion can make safely a fully charged Q, if you just crash onto the enemy, the opponent will recover from the stun too early and you wont be able to hit a full charge Q, thats very crucial, the downside is that "slamming" your R is much more difficult to hit and often baus pays the price

Yeah the wiki clearly said it as a feature the ult stun is 0.25-1.75s but if he leaping it said it increases to 0.75-1.75s but the knock up is always separate from the stun so the actual CC lated 1-2s bc at maximum range i can fully change Q and hit them before the stun run out.

IIRC, Baus said tank Scion is better, but he plays better on lethality Sion because it's easier to die, so he concentrates harder. Also, a major thing people overlook is how good his movements are. He tethers and jukes like a pro. Even if you fully understand the playstyle, you might not have the same success if your "footwork" isn't as good.

Tank Sion you want to play against Tanks or Tops that can't push wave like Akali, or Difficult match up like darius or Aatrox. Although Tank Sion is easier to play, Full AD Sion is more risk/rewards type of play style. You should build Full AD when enemy has squishy team comp. Cull is a great first back item where if you have chance to buy on your first back/death you should.

Might be wrong, but the way I understand rq from sion, is that it only cancels the animatrion in short range ults if you ult far anyway it makes no difference i think caus you cant cancel it with q anymore

it's the same bug as retapping r right before it hits, and can confirm that full distance r normally will not let you fully charge q but tapping q or retapping r full distance will(1.75 seconds vs i think 2.25 seconds)

Tank is almost always better. But if you can pull off a 10 cs/m average combined with great mechanics and macro, lethality is viable.

Baus also has a specific build for dealing with irelia. its pretty much the tank build but instead of sunfire he goes triforce

Right now GP seems like a good counter vs Sion as well, Baus struggles really hard vs a good played GP in lane and teamfights

no no, if you press r q at the same rime, the ult with cancel automatically and make the stunt duration longer, this only works on short distances though

I got a game where my team decided to stop him by blocking him with 3 people but then the sup die on the spot adc got rekt and my mid can't outrun the dead Sion. :( There need to be a sacrifice but god damn it my team was so wrong in that one.
