Indians came to this realization of PLA after 2019 Galwan clashes, There was a campaign to boycott Chinese products which was fairly successful.

@@shayanraj7840 I would urge you to look at the things that are traded. Before 2019 we imported mostly end-product(consumer level) which doesn't generate much employment or technological advancement. But these days its more of raw material and 2nd 3rd tier supply. Its impossible to not trade with China because certain products are only made in China and Due to economics of scale they would be much harder to outsource to other countries. Trading isn't inherently bad, but should be mutually beneficial.(Which is hardly a case due trade imbalance but better than before is my point)

@@shayanraj7840 Yes, in the long term. See with toys and lights small scale businesses take hit and do not devlope further. But with Raw material it is matter of generating more wealth inside India. Besides some elements are exclusively found in China. Importing them from South America is not feasible in the long term.

Trade between INDIA and Pakistan is closed since 2019 except for some rabies vaccines and other drugs. Pakistan buys INDIAN vegetables and other stuff through dubai. Before 2019 it wasn't a significantly big trade either.

Last few years, have not bought a single item Chinese, or made in China, though made in India is preferred choice, but if no real good option exist, than any other country origin goods is the way forward. For all things it has worked except for high pressure washer, for washing car or cleaning old carpets etc, no matter which country brand i searched each one was manufactured in China, so i just dropped the need to buy high pressure washer. I can live without that product. Its not only done by me, but my whole family does that, as part of effort to support India. Trade with China is increasing, despite Indians buying less, primary reason is when more and more supply chain shits from china, the components still get sourced from there and it takes time for domestic industry to replace each component supply locally. With India increasing manufacturing at very fast pace, the components part needed also increase. I see it will take a decade time, when sufficient components industry takes a major chunk. Till then India trade will keep increasing as we manufacture more, and probably after a decade it will start to decrease. Anti Dumping battle will be real and continuous battle as china will keep dumping subsidized production, in hope to destroy local industry. *Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico won election on basis of promise to cut military war funding in Ukraine and promise not to take in a single Muslim immigrant, refused to implement the European Union's new migration system , now he has been shot in stomach, hope he stays safe and well, best wishes and hope Nato/EU deep state does not bump him off as he is not following their interest, but looking for his country interest like PM Modi.*

But for chine its 100B dollars+ year, just last financial year it was highest of 112B dollars 😢 For common indians now a days they r thinking atleast once before buying, but still d trend is very low, especially things like earphones and things that r exclusive to manufacture in china electronics is still in there, BUT its changing. China mainly get in the industrial sector in huge numbers , i mean huge. I am working in manufacturing sector for 6 years & i know how cripple the sector can be if we cut off trade with china 😢 & so, more and more emphasis on Self reliant is being made in such sectors... It will take 4-5 years more till electronic sector grows up and then it will be a shut down in night, no doubt 🧐 but till then we need to cover ourself with China's imported things...
