How Should I Pursue Women?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Got this question from a subscriber:
Hello Richard,
I've been following your channel for a while now. I love your honesty, and your empiricism. I'm 26 going on 27 this year in December, and graduated from engineering school less than a year ago.
I consider myself a late bloomer. I've struggled with self-esteem and confidence issues for as long as I can remember, I've only recently made breakthroughs with the help of a wonderful therapist. I used to think I wasn't a man because I wasn't having sex with lots of beautiful women, it seemed like everyone else was. Sometimes I feel like I've fallen too far behind.
Should it be a priority to start pursuing women? perhaps like a pickup artist? What do you think about porn, prostitution, and strip clubs? Are these healthy environments for men? Thank you.

I've been divorced once and also ended a relationship with my young girlfriend that lived with me for almost 5yrs... I am terrified of getting involved (trapped) with a woman at this point in my life because it is so easy for me to get "stuck" with a girl that I don't really want to be with but cant bring myself to follow through and get rid of her because I don't want to hurt her. I am satisfied living alone with my 2 big dogs and minding my own business and staying out of trouble. I have no interest in a female right now and I hope that lasts for a long long time. There nothing worse than being in a relationship that you wish you could get out of...I'm finally out of mine and I feel like I have found my self again.

True story.. back when I was a young man in my teens,,,there were women I knew who were actually insulted that I was interested in them. They held me in such low regard that it made them angry that a guy like me wanted to be with them! Imagine the blow to a mans ego? I was smitten with these gals,,,and they were disgusted that I was interested in them! It was rough....Did i fold? No....I reacted! A year later after hitting the gym,,,changing my style a bit,,,,these same women were jocking me! Until you realize your full potential....don’t give up! Every man looks better jacked and lean. Put in the work and the ladies will come! No pun intended! ;0)

A chicken-muscled dude can pull girls if only he is confident enough. It's all about confidence. So many people are wrong thinking muscles or money will automatically get them lots of women. It is the confidence of having money or fit body that counts. And it is a good idea to improve yourself in other areas, intellectually and so on, just pumping iron for hours on end is not enough.

Strip clubs, porn etc has never done anything positive for me. Even a prostitute leaves me cold. Its too transactional. The best sex I've ever had, where I can go all night, is with a woman who I am emotionally connected to and we share similar values, have intelligent conversations, laugh, poke fun at each other and flirt with each other all day. Its the soft gestures, hand holding, acts of caring, kindness and appreciation that turns me on. Sex is just a natural outcome of all the small things throughout the day. I prefer to call it "making love" as opposed to "having sex".

Absolutely 210% brother. Im with you man. You must also be Demi-Sapio sexual like myself. (Although porn is pretty amazing). Strippers and hookers are vacuous holes. Nothing of value. Sex ought to be free (like porn). I still believe kissing and foreplay, is far more exciting that sex can ever be. I find sex to be extremely BORING as hell. I wish I knew what all the fuss was about. It's a shame girls aren't into foreplay and second-base/heavy petting stuff. I think "outer-course" is kinkier! lol Cheers man. Namaste.

Hi brothers and sisters. Another great video Richard, thanks. Just a general comment. I just finished watching the movie "The Red Pill". Definitely a must watch for fans of this channel particularly, and for everyone in general. I won't do you the injustice of trying to summarize the movie in a few words, however suffice to say they do a deep dive into men's rights and position in our modern society. They touch on MGTOW briefly, and MRA's and feminism in depth. A real eye opener, even for someone cognizant of the need for men's issues to be recognized in our society. I can't recommend it highly enough. Cheers.

This comment Is for the subscriber who left the question. But quickly for you Rich, You might get a laugh, when I was 18 after studying this stuff for two years in my last years of high school a grade nine (14-year-old) was super interested in me, I took her on one date, just out to coffee and drove her home... and even though I was still a virgin and the date went really well, I turned her down because I would've felt like a sleaze. Guess who I saw today at the gym for the first time in 8 years who became a fitness model? I'm now 26 she's 22, and we had a great conversation. (I'll probably ask her out next time I see her and since I just started going to a new gym 3 times a week that will likely be soon) True story... Fucking Karma I guess. Back to the subscriber. I studied A LOT of PUA stuff, quick back-story I actually had two best friends in high school that were getting laid and I wasn't (and I was sure they were). I knew there was something wrong with me. One of those best friends, I still remember this to this day was asked by one of the hottest girls in the School (who he had virtually no interaction with up to this point), "what are you doing for lunch today?" he swiftly replied "going out with you"... This is when I realized that there was something wrong with my frame of mind, specifically my emotional fixation of my fear of failure, fear of rejection which manifested very obviously through my verbal of communication, the subtlety's of my body, and more importantly how I perceived myself. I perceived that one rejection would be the end of me. This is when I started to get into PUA stuff. Specifically, David Deangelo's Mastery program which is a different style of PUA entirely. He did bring in speakers such as Mystery, Tyler Durden, Denver Clay and a few others. But his running joke was that all the techniques come at the end. Instead, David preferred to talk about books like 'The Way of The Superior Man' (David Deita) Carl Jung's shadow and projection exercise, The Myers-Brig personality type indicator, how to not be a victim, and more or less all the aspects of internal game, he even took it so far as discussing some of Ken Wilber's philosophy of becoming 'The Void'. All he wanted to talk about is how to become a real man. What this has all taught me is not to need love. Even though on a biological level we all want it.I believe that myself comes first, and 90% of the problems I have can be solved on my own (that's why as I man try to take to initiative to solve them, I refuse to accept the ideology that external forces define me). Take that personal responsibility to do so. If you want some guidance on how to make yourself a Sun that planets gravitate around. (this is what he teaches, become a Sun, shed light onto others because you are so fulfilled in yourself that you desire to). Look into David DeAngelo mastery. I hope this helps you man, and Rich (you're a great dude, you may have actually may have been reading my quote that I said to you, "you're like a dad I never had" That's because my father has only been married once, and he does expect the same from me. I appreciate you're telling of the stories that made you, you. I don't expect certainty in my life and I open to the possibility my first marriage will end badly. I'm trying to prevent that the best that I can, but I appreciate ur insight man. I also believe I want to share this insight to others. To make them better.

I think a lot of guys would have trouble NOT pursuing women in their 20s because the whole club and bar scene is focused on men in that age group. I know that when I was at university, the thing to do was go to the clubs or bars on weekends because you know you're not going to have time or money for that kind of thing once you finish school because you're going to be working and trying to save money. Its almost as if guys need to get partying and pussy out of their system. Also, when a guy is in his 20s, thirty seems reeeeally old. He can't possibly imagine waiting until his 30s to pursue women or date them long term. If he hasn't had a long term relationship in his teens or 20s, then he will feel inadequate in his 30s. Even then, he is probably just getting out of debt, starting to go bald and thats just too long to wait. Some guys can do it, but most men spend their entire 20s trying to get into a relationship. I've seen so many men (including myself) get into the WRONG long term relationship in our 30s because we didn't get enough experience in our teens or 20s. That said, I think young men are screwed either way. If they wait, they are inexperienced, if they don't wait, then they get screwed and end up having kids in their 20s. I guess all they can do is use their best judgement and watch this channel.

Bars and clubs are the biggest scam for men. I actually have a friend who is a bar owner. He constantly invites young hot girls and give them free drinks just to lure men to stick around and buy expensive drinks. I recently learned that this is a job: hot girls are hired to sit at the bar looking pretty just talking to men all night. Girls get to keep half of what the guy spends on drinks. Bartenders know the girls that are working, so they pour very little or no alcohol into their drinks. Girls are pretty much salesmen faking their interest in you. I absolutely hate clubs and bars now, huge waste of time and money.

@@00_UU I had a few good nights at the club in my 20s. Maybe half a dozen hookups. I think I had whiskey dick half the time though. Probably only 1 really good one. Did her in the morning too. Probably a hundred wasted nights though. Probably spent at least 10k over the years. Was never into buying girls drinks though, just myself. Huge waste of money, but what else you gunna do? I actually met a lot of great girls in the triathlon club, but I was always looking for something else. Many regrets about my 20s and even 30s. I'm 43 now. Wow, time flies.

Just because I can't dunk, or close that one deal, or what ever doesn't mean shit with respects to my worth as a human being and all of our infinite potential! BTW I like hookers too and if I'm in Bangkok the gogo bars are a very efficient means to satisfy any sexual needs. I'm not a big fan of porn nor strip clubs in the West for the same reasons, you can't really relieve yourself as you can in other countries that are less uptight about prostitution. Nothing worse than getting all fired up and then left abandoned :)

Strip clubs can be very helpful in one way. When it comes to having a conversation and keeping a woman interested you can not only learn a lot but also get constructive real-time feed back from those women. You might have to tip her but there's no need for the VIP. If you can keep her interested in you she will spend her time talking. That will boost and bolster your confidence. Don't go in expecting to get a number or find a girlfriend. Has it happened to me before? Yes, on many occasions. But mind you, I kept her talking and stated that I was there to talk and have a good time. I also kept those girls engaged. The girlonly looked at her phone to check the times she went on stage even though her phone went off a few times between each. Also I would suggest going on a Monday night. If you go on a weekend night the girls will be working to make their money. That means her time is split between every guy in the club as she is trying to see who will pay her for 5 minutes. Sit right at the main stage, get a mixed drink, set your stack of ones in front of you, and sit back to enjoy the show. When you spot a girl that intimidates you, place a dollar on the edge and let her come to you. As she does pick it up and hold it. This let's you get in a little closer and ask her to come sit with you after her set is done. And if you do that more than once or get her to show you a few tricks she will be more at ease with you. All it takes is $3. Hope that helps yall a little.
