Speaking of niches, I once seen an entire Corgi Etsy shop where they sold corgi graphics on blankets, mugs & cups. Their shop got a ton of sales so she’s right about small passionate niches.

Fantastic Interview Cody! I can’t believe how fast 42 mins went by, lots of great information that was shared and excellent questions asked. I’m getting ready to launch my Etsy store soon, I’m happy to have found your product Everbee that you created, will definitely be a game changer when it comes to researching what designs/products are selling best and to use them as inspiration to create a version that is different and unique to what I think a customer will like, going forward. Thank you and wish you nothing but success!

Heather is awesome I've been following her for some time now and I just signed up for her masterclass which I'm so excited to start. And in case anybody is wondering I went through and researched a lot of print on demand Etsy master classes and Heather's seems like the best one that is out there and one of the more up-to-date ones and the pricing for the class is very reasonable, she's not sitting here charging thousands of dollars like some other people are. She's such a wonderful person and explains things so that they can be understood so easily I highly suggest checking out her KZread videos so you can get a feel for how she teaches.

Cody I actually just signed up for Everbee as well, I'm wondering there are a lot of how to videos for your platform is there a video that you would highly suggest? For platforms I try to find the one video that's going to teach me everything I need to know because it really should be that easy I don't really want to have to watch 20 videos just to learn how to use a platform but I've heard that your platform is pretty easy to use so I'm excited about that.

I made over 500,000 last year on Etsy, with no social media. I don't really understand anything past Etsy but I make amazing handmade books. Sales are down a lot in the past 6 months. hoping this will help. Thank you for taking the time to reach those who need help.

The comment on the Ads was interesting, she felt it wasn’t working because sales specifically related to the Ads weren’t working, which I think is a common thought process for a lot of people too. However, you need to look at your sales as a whole when running the Ads, have the increased in total has your total profit line increased because someone may click on your Ad but not buy that product but purchase a different product from your shop with no Ads or favourite your shop and return later etc. This still all happen because you had the Ad even if they didn’t purchase that particular item at the time. If you are breaking even on your Ads when you look at specific sales from Ads then you are doing well as long as you total bottom line is increasing. It can be a difficult one for people to get there head around because it’s a lot easier to measure a direct return on an Ad investment than the indirect return

@@helloeverbee Can't reveal the idea; someone will copycat my Etsy store; overall, it's two passionate and complementary niches, not like truckers and bridals... BTW I am a paid Everbee user.

@@aw885 Totally understand not sharing niche. If they are complementary, and selling to a similar audience or demographic, then I'd recommend merging into the shop that has more credibility (sales, reviews, etc).. Personally, I'd prefer to have 1 good shop than 2 mediocre shops. Thank you for being a part of EverBee btw!
