How Sexual Activists Hijacked the Civil Rights Movement, with Voddie Baucham

Dr. Voddie Baucham joins the podcast to talk about how gay-rights advocates first co-opted the civil rights movement to promote same-sex “marriage.” Now, with the nearly complete acceptance of Critical Social Justice, intersectionality, and myriad other streams of postmodern, neo-Marxist ideology, the transgender movement has taken the LGBTQIA+ agenda to new heights and threatens not only the family, but the church and the state as well. Voddie also discusses how many Evangelical leaders, eager to appease the culture, have gone along with this strategy.

Oh, this is superb! Pastor Bauchum is not only theologically solid, but he understands the sociological impact of sin. The popular media and culture have fed all of us the false notion that homosexuality is 'morally neutral'; but in the case of Black folks, they've also put forth the false narrative that 'gay is the next Black'. Yes, books can be written about how wrong that is! Btw, Mrs. Childers, I'd like to suggest to you what I suggested to Becket Cook; that you also have Pastors David Lynn and Dorre Love on you show. These two African-North American pastors are also superb in refuting the 'woke' liberal sociological assertions about sex and race, and instead the importance of upholding the 'straight is the gate' true Gospel for Christians of all races. Amen.

The price our family has paid for standing on Jesus and Biblical truth and not agreeing and affirming our daughter’s decision to “transition” is that she has disowned us, and told us to think of her as dead. We always told her we love her and want to talk and have as much relationship as possible, but for her there was no tolerance for our belief. This is the battle of our time, the evil one is prowling and devouring our families, even strong Christian families. I pray she will come back to her faith and to us.

Fake ministers all over the world know Malachi 3 8 telling them to return the money they were never supposed to take and that Matthew 19 12 says God prefers same-sex marriage and confirms transgender people are born that way. If you don't stop supporting others using the name of God to take money for anything at all you won't be here much longer. The soul doesn't enter the body until birth when a baby takes its first breath. Abortion is not murder. God is pro-choice and anyone saying otherwise will also soon be taken with the wicked. I went for my annual routine checkup last week and was given a form to fill out for my file before being seen by the Doctor. When I got to the section for gender choice there was every other option except ‘Female’ I had to write it, draw a box, check the box, and I wrote I Am A Female next to it. I may be missing something here. I would say sexual orientation is real, I am a man, who is attracted to women...some quite a bit, but like the gay christian that does not practice homosexuality, I am a strait Christian that does not act on my sinful desires, to be with women I am not married to. I just don't see much differences in my denying my sinful desires, by not acting on them and a gay christian staying celibate to not act on his desires. At the end of the day we all have sins, that we try not to act upon, some of us do well to control them, and that should be the goal of all of us. I just don't see a difference between my impure thoughts, and someone else's, as long as we try to push them aside and not act upon them. But the caveat here is that we should never endorse those sins, and work to find more less sinful outlets. For me, it is to find a good wife and not have lustful desires for others, but for a gay christian it should be to end the lustful desires and either stay celibate or find a way to love a woman, and marry her, as I have heard some Christians learning to do through faith and prayer. If this mindset is wrong do help me find where I got it wrong and I will consider it. This is not some big ideological point from me... I just don't see where my sins differ from other's sins, as they are all sinful.

Alisa and Voddie, much respect and thank-you There are so many voices that are or are attemping to morph what the bible says to us. I pretty much grew up as a Christian on your dads music. Listening to everyone's version of Christian truth, it would be interesting to have an app that would graph how biblical all these opinions are, because the bible at the end of the day the bible is our truth. You seem to be quite balanced. I'm a berean, conservative, continuationist Christian LOL. Trust but verify. So thank-you for your voice of clarity and moderation. So many of these voices attempt to explain truth w/o using truth (scriptural support), I've noticed in particular the voice of cessationism becoming rather militant and mean spirited, I have yet to find any of them with any scriptural basis they just seem to rant, throwing anything remotely Pentecostal under the bus of being "weird". One thing I'm very convinced of is that per 1Cor 13 God isn't pleased with all this accusatory vilifying that's going on. I've met Catholics, baptists, messianic Jews who express a love and passion for God that I could only hope to emulate. I think at the end of the day it's our hearts running after a biblical Jesus that is key. We should aggressively be against sin, but walk in love with the rest of the body of Christ with a teachable heart. We as Christians need to learn how to get along with each other, because where this culture is going we're really going to need each other. Ok, God bless

When are we as Christians going to realize that if we are going to make headway with ine Church, with persons in the LGBTQ community, our approach needs to stop being one of expressing that the Bible concept of LOVE is any different from the true concept of Godly love to begin with. In other words, we need to PRIMARILY take the LOVE approach, in Hebrews 12"6, that God disciplines, (corrects, guides, changes), those HE loves BECAUSE HE loves them. Point being, the LGBTQ community has chosen love as their primary argument to defend their justification(s) to continue their way, so the Church must now understand that ONLY THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF GOD'S TRUE LOVE IS GOING TO BRING ABOUT THE KIND OF "LOVE CHANGE" WE WANT TO SEE IN THAT COMMUNITY. Hebrews 12:6 speaks of the God expressing the essence of His love by desiring to change us into HIS LIKENESS AS PROPOSED IN 1 JOHN 3:5. This is God's primary goal for our CHANGE because God desires to spend eternity with a people, CHANGED into the His image, inside/out, starting with His UNCONDITIONAL LOVE ITSELF IN ALL OF OUR HEARTS. YES, GOD LOVES US AS WE ARE BUT THAT "WHY" HE DESIRES CHANGE IN OUR LIVES, CORRECTION AND GUIDANCE. HE LOVES US TOO MUCH TO HAVE US REMAIN AS WE ARE. WE AS THE CHURCH MUST HELP THE LGBTQ UNDERSTAND THESE THINGS AND WE AS THE CHURCH MUST ALWAYS REMAIN MINDFUL, THAT OUR GOAL WITH MINISTERING THE TRUTH TO THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY IS NOT TO JUST DOWN OR TRUMP THEM WITH RELIGIOUS IDEOLOGIES BUT "ONLY" TO RESTORE THEM IN LOVE. SOME OF THEM WILL GET IT, WHOM GOD HAS CALLED OUT OF THE LGBTQ COMMUNITY AND SOME OF THEM CANNOT AND WILL NOT EVER GET IT BUT LET'S TRUST THE HOLY SPIRIT TO TO THE HEARTS OF THE ONES GOD IS CALLING OUT BY THE SPIRIT. YES KEEP MINISTERING AND PREACHING, NEVER LETTING UP BUT LETS MAKE SURE WE TAKE THE LOVE APPROACH FIRST BECAUSE TO BE HONEST CHURCH, LOVE IS ALL OF OUR LAST HOPE AND IF LOVE CAN'T CHANGE FOLK, NOTING CAN AND WILL...AMEN..SELAH!

The points he was making are great. Just wanted to say that we can say things in a more and less lovely way to the lgbtq+++ community about their lifestyle and what it leads to. But we can, and absolutely need to be firm when we say it. But the focus is be to be firm, strong and loving. And its' true that no matter how lovely you are some people might never listen to you.

Regarding your "side B" assertions about Preston Sprinkle, to say that he's guilty by association by being "in unity" with others, what does that really mean? Maybe you can explain it better for me, but I can't help thinking of the religious power structures in the time of Jesus, who sought to condemn Him for associating with sinners and those who they deemed unclean. Even though Jesus preached a message which was NOT in support of the lifestyle of those sinners, still his association with them was enough for the religious to condemn him. Is this where you're at?

Ironically enough Alistair Begg, before his faux pas, mentioned After The Ball in a sermon on Romans1:26, and it was an excellent sermon. Thus I couldn’t understand how he could, over the airwaves, condone transexual/homosexual marriage.

Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness."-2nd Thess. 2:9-12.

Great interview! Super informative, so important for the church to be aware of these issues and the terminology creeping in... ONE critique I have of Pastor Voddie is that the "A" in LGBTQIA stands for Asexual. I'm not sure where he got that it was "Allies". 🤔 Would be interested in commentary on the rise of "asexuality" as well. Thanks.

Fake. Fake ministers all over the world know Malachi 3 8 telling them to return the money they were never supposed to take and that Matthew 19 12 says God prefers same-sex marriage. I am Elijah JESUS was TRANSGENDER, a female man returning as a dark-skinned female woman in a lesbian relationship with a male woman. God is pro-choice. The soul doesn't enter the body until birth when a baby takes its first breath. Anyone saying otherwise won't be here much longer either.

I don't know about them, but the only way that term makes sense is that the God has ONLY oriented humans to sexually desire the opposite sex. Any other concept of "sexual orientation" is unbiblical and against God.
