How self-betrayal ruins your life // Black Woman Healing Affirmation

Black women are trained by society, parents to betray ourselves for others. We start to distrust our intuition and our soul. We start to tell ourselves little lies because we think we have to believe it. But in order to heal and become Free Black Women, we have to tell hard truths. In this Black woman affirmation, my hope is that you recognize how you've been lying to yourself and work towards telling and owning the truth so you can live a more healthy, whole, healed, joyous life.
contents included: Black woman morning affirmation, how Black women betray themselves, Black women healing, Black women betray ourselves, how lying ruined my life, tell the hard truth, healing the Black woman, Black Girl Creative, affirmations for Black women, Storytelling for Black women, black woman healing affirmation, how self-betrayal ruins your life, stop self sabotaging, Black Girls Heal, Black woman artist, Black woman morning affirmations, how to trust your intuition, when it's time to leave,

WOW!!!! I have been wearing a "False Face" for most of my life🥺At 65 because of my daughter's Constant Reminders and being led to this video today is CONFIRMATION!!!! The LIE(s) must DIE😤😒🤨 I have wasted 3/4 of my life, (If it's God's Will) trying to fit my Square Mind into a Round Shape🫤I have fallen "Prey" to Society's Expectations and have worked hard to "Fit the Mold" because I NEVER took the time to Discover "Who I Am"😞This Persona has caused Chaos and destroyed relationships with friends, family, and former co-workers. To add "Insult to Injury" I NEVER felt the need to be held Accountable for ANY of my Actions,😮 despite how I may have affected a situation or made someone feel. 🙄 Thank you young lady for Opening my "Narrow-minded Eyes"!!! Continue to speak your #Tjruth because there are many who need to hear it! God Bless 🙏🏾

Oooh I’m so glad I looked up “how to heal from lies and betrayal black woman” because I really needed this. I’m trying to heal from a lot of betrayal and mistrust and abuse in my life. I never considered all the lies I told myself yknow. Little lies that I accept because I don’t stand in my truth. It’s not ok. It’s not alright. I still need to heal from what happened but I gotta start being honest with myself so I have SOME trust, in myself, if not in nobody else.

The biggest lie that Ive been telling myself is that I dont need help. I was raised to push harder, do more, endure everything, be resilient. I later married into a family that encouraged the "strong Black woman" they watched me juggle everything, run the hamster wheel, wear multiple hats. Asking for help has always been a sign of weakness. " I got it" is all ppl wanna hear.

I patronize a business and the cashier told me "you are welcome" as if she did me a favor. I waited several minutes for her to seek help learn her job and she felt I needed to tell her thanks. Well I wouldn't in the past acknowledge the suttle shade, but because this last year of truly loving me I shined light on that shade. I enlightened the young lady the reason and importance of thanking patrons for choosing them and not the other business around them.

I have been saying the same thing to myself. We all lie too much. And when someone lie about us we have to say out loud that their declaration is NOT true. And later say it again to ourselves but more importantly say 2 or three truth about ourselves. By not highlighting the lie and denouncing it. Over time we hold onto to them as if they are our truths. And that is mental poison. I really appreciate your videos. And I am glad you post them. We think alike. I have no platform but yea. What's funny is from the outside how easy we can analyze a relationship from a show or movie. But sometimes we know we should leave the one we are in and all of a sudden, it does not seem so clear cut or easy....but u know what most of the time...we know. We know the main action we must take. We may not be to clear on the steps after....but we know.

I think addiction is a physical manifestation of truth suppression and conflict avoidance. I am an emotional overeater. I am valuing other people's comfort over my own. If ANYONE finds my needs or boundaries offensive that's a tell tale sign that they don't need to be in my life or their presence in my life is conditioned on them honoring my boundaries and meeting my needs. I am also learning not to have resentment because I neglected self-care to care for them. I need to prioritize myself. Continued blessings

He is my son and I would like to agree with him but, I don’t know. I feel bullied. We have a great relationship. I listen like a dear in headlights because I am afraid to ruin our relationship. I am lying to myself. Keep my feelings about his approach is making me feel bad about myself.

I'm all about the truth in love. Suppressing causes health issues and trapped negitive emotions so I'm working thru alot of emotional healing. You're making a difference sis. Great video! Our subconscious can't really tell the difference between a lie or a truth. It's all facts to our subconscious that it uses to impact the way we live. So every time we lie to others, and even ourselves, our subconscious takes it and adds it our beliefs, habits, and everyday life. You're so right. It's important for us to be honest to the best of our ability! Way to go, keep going! :-)

Im not one to say I'm happy when I'm not, but I will minimize the way I feel, like if someone asks how are you, I won't go into I'm sad and depressed, I'll just say in a bland voice I'm OK. It let's me know I'm not lying to someone and letting them know I'm happy when I'm not, but also if people knew how I truly feel then they may see that something is wrong with me. (Who is sad and depressed all then time, and who really wants to hear that all the time) there fore instead I just minimize my feelings...

I had a friend. We knew each other since third grade. I thought we had a great relationship until one day, I asked her a question that she never answered. Then I asked her could we be the friends who respond to each other and she got passive aggressive with me. I let her know that was not acceptable. That was January 2022. I have not heard from her since. I choose me. And self-sabotage, OMG. When I realized I was sabotaging myself, sometimes just in my own fantasies; that was tough. Thanks for speaking on this. I keep thinking of enhancing my KZread/podcase on other topics that we as "black" (I use the word aboriginal) American women really need to hear. It might be time.

Hi there! While I welcome conversation, I think you're commenting based on a lot of assumptions you have about me. What about what I said about God has slave theology? I'm curious. Also, I don't believe in the western world's version of Christianity... I am a follower of Jesus. I also don't believe that it's a white man's religion. I believe it was co-opted and perverted. I'm also doing the work to unlearn these mindsets. This plays a part in learning to trust myself again. If anything, slave theology teaches us NOT to follow our intuition or to trust ourselves, but only to trust in man. I'm really curious and look forward to your answer 😊💛🌻 much love and joy to you!

I and my husband listen to you together as most of what you say is relating to me in the present, but when I still hear certain words and phrases from my people in 2022 it makes me cringe. I wonder why we still refer to god as something outside self and call it Him. If we can only see god and these things as I AM, we will be in a much better place.
