    There were 7 counts. The must consider, and debate, each count separately. Fours hours is incredibly quick, about 25 minutes per count. It must have been a slam dunk. I was on a jury where we had to deliberate 9 counts. It took us almost 2 full days.

It was such an obviously lopsided case it was really very unfortunate for his defense attorneys, honestly. The problem is that society worships money, and those who can supposedly make billions are put on a pedestal and given free reign without scrutiny. This reminded me of Bernie Madoff, but this guy is young, and sadly, he lost his moral compass. These kind of crimes have to be nipped in the bud. He deserves jail time, but rather than 100 years, I think he should be given 20 years of hard labour, felling trees, digging ditches, and breaking rocks with a handheld hammer!     I was also on a jury in which everyone agreed in the guilt. The discussion was maybe 15-20 minutes for each count (total of 5), though it was simpler than this case. The individual on trial wasn’t liked by anyone in the court room, his attitude definitely seemed to impact how quickly we deliberated in finding him guilty.
