To get the serial # turn off the audio unit. Press and hold the top halves of the SEEK/SKIP and CH/DISC bars, and then press and release the PWR/VOL knob. This display toggles between two screens. The first screen displays a U and the first four digits of the serial number (for example, U2200).

I just took out my battery to upgrade my headlights and fog lights. Couldn’t figure out why my radio wasn’t working until I came across this video, definitely a life saver thank you bro!!

I looked into the glove box while watching this to figure it out and pulled owners manual an was fortunate enough that the previous owners wrote the radio code on the cover for anyone afterwards

Help me how do i type in the serial number? Do i first write U code and L codes later or do i include U and L while typing in the serial number?

The code you get from U and L are need to input into the actual Honda website the code you receive from and email is the only one you enter in the radio .. turn your car on make sure it’s on and type in the code it should work I just did it today

I live in Canada and this doesn’t work for me since the website requires a zip code (because it’s for America) is there any way around this since I don’t have a zip code ?

On the website it says my vin is wrong is their a different website or a alternative? My radio started to not work after the battery died i tried both codes i have no idea how to fix lol ive been thinking about getting a aftermarket one but thats quiet the work 😂

Website gave me a 5-digit code and the car/radio is only asking for a 4-digit code.

It worked but my radio keeps going into anti theft mode after a few minutes idk what to do

Check your wire you might have a pinched wire or check the cables to the battery make sure they are tight

I have the code but it is 8 numbers and it only asking me for 5

@@elmeromero480 no I check the fuse box but it’s not burned and doesn’t make sense because the air conditioner works and the heating thing too so I don’t know why the screen doesn’t turn on at all and not even the disc receiver work I tried to put a dvd in it but diest open it doesn’t take it inside!! Is it locked or something or should I take it to the dealer lol

It’s been a while but I believe the serial number was in the glove box or it might be the codes you get from the actual radio once you hold button 1-6 at the same time and then click the on button on the radio
