Just a FYI for anyone who has or is thinking of buying a used FX-35. I own a 2009 FX 35 and love this car! I am in sales so I live in this car! It is well kept. However I have had a few issues. History, purchased in 2015 only one owner prior to myself and millage 144,025. I know high miles always a risk. Interior perfect condition, all highway miles as the previous owner worked in sales. Current miles as of 2-21-21 217,000. I have had some small and 1 major items replaced and may or may not be due to high millage. Here they are and not in order. Always serviced, run full synthetic oil. kept brakes and rotors changed, belts, filters ect . I choose new Toyo P265/60TR-18 open country HT (great tires). After I purchased could never get the cd player to work and the clock never kept time. (Replaced Blower motor at 211,524 miles)(replaced Alternator -192,473 miles)( ECM reprogramed - due to hesitation on accel at 192,473)( replaced Radiator and windshield fluid reservoir ,seal leaky oil pan, and fixed a strange rattle form under the back area of the car, at 189,681). (Transmission replaced at 194,000 as it would not engage in reverse, purchase a used refurbished better than spending double for new.) Lastly shocks are next! and just today water on floor drivers side and sunroof is draining fine so it's not that. Not sure what my next car will be , however other than the high miles, list of repairs, I still truly enjoy this car!

@ Karen Burt, thanks for the feedback! Our 2010 FX35 now has 130k miles. We have done regular service including changing brake rotors a few time but no major mechanical issues so far. There is one time a coolant hose (heater core hose) that has a plastic joint raptured and spilled coolant all over. It’s a known issue with Nissan and Infiniti with this engine. But other than that, no major mechanical issues. The motorized side mirror is acting up (folds in but sometimes won’t fold out). We will see what happens as we approach 150k miles. Thank you for watching and thank your for taking the time to leave such a detailed/informative comment!!

I am sad about this fx, but i live in Orlando. if u goona junk it let me know, i will pick it up for the same price. I could use the DIFF. BUSH. THE SEAT, THE ROTORS, THE RADIATOR, THE BEARINGS. etc.

I love the car, I just bought a 2009 with 88k miles. It is AMAZING! Exhaust sound, power, looks, feel are all amazing. It sucks how much I love it, because modern Infiniti's come with a 4 cylinder/CVT combo. I really don't know if I could buy an Infiniti with such a sad power train after owning this monster, Infiniti is definitely changing from their epic times in the mid 2000s. I hope they go back to this level of amazing eventually.

@DivineTarot, we have loved and enjoyed our FX35 for almost 10 years now! We cross shopped between FX35 and BMW and for the cost, FX35 came fully loaded for a lot cheaper. The performance is great and it still looks modern. I agree Infiniti lost its way once they started changing the names of popular models like the G35 and FX35. The cars they offer today are not inspiring to own anymore. Enjoy your car! Thank you for watching and for the comment! I appreciate it.

I own a 2010 EX35 that I bought used about 7 years ago , it had about 50k miles at the time. It now has 197k miles the only major thing that I had to fix / replace was the radiator and had a service done as well which came to about $1700. I love my EX35 it has been way more reliable than the 2 BMW'S that I owned previous ( 2002 330ci & 2007 X5 4.8is ) and way cheaper to maintain and own. I hope my Infiniti lasts several more years as the prices in the car market are scary but beyond that I agree , Infiniti glory days are past which is just sad ! I will probably try Lexus next but they just aren't as exciting as Infiniti's were in their heyday , when they were like a Japanese BMW and Lexus are like a Japanese interpretation of Mercedes Benz... Hmmm there is Acura but is it just me that their heyday is past as well ?

@Joseph Blanchard, I fell in love with the FX35 when it came out and with the update in 2009, I knew which car to get. We checked BMW too but Infiniti was highly equipped and cheaper. The only thing we have replaced is the heater-core hose because they burst open and coolant leaks out. Other than that, it’s one of the most reliable luxury car we have ever owned. Sadly, I can’t replace it with another Infiniti because none of the SUVS they make excites me. To get the same excitement, I have to look at Porsche Macan/Cayenne which are crazy expensive! Maybe Lexus, but they don’t feel sporty. An electric SUV might be the next family car. Thank you for sharing and thanks for watching! Keep enjoying your EX35!

We bought this car when it was 3 years old..basically new. Today I really can’t find a car to replace it. The only car that looks as good and performs the same or better is the Porsche Macan.
