Incredible stories of hardship, courage and love. We are all so lucky that organsiations like the refugee council exist in most countries around the world. We can all do our individual parts too to help. The smallest kindness can make a huge difference for those those at risk. 💚

I don't understand why people are always complaining about the UK being a cold country while it is not a cold country at all. I came from northwest Afghanistan and I find the UK with a mild climate BUT not enough sunshine.

Excuse me, my dad was a refugee from a pretty bad situation, so I and my sisters must count as "second generation". We are all grateful to Britain for giving our dad a refuge and we are very proud to be British. Please don't generalise in such an unfair way.
