We can solve this Ramanujan's problem very fast by using only logical analysis. √x + y = 7 and x +√y = 11 We are looking for some integers for x and y and the sum of them = 7 or 11. They must be the perfect squares (x and y). And we know that x > y and x or y must be odd number. But the crucial information given is that x So two perfect squares Then x = 9 and y = 4

    if y is natural, y √x=3, x=9 ans: (x,y)=(9,4)

Basically this but you can't just use that to "show" y=4. You can guess that y=1,4 and x=1,4,9. Then you try and guess and it works.

RamanuJ method will always work in all problems, but this your method is a manipulative method which might not work at all times.

@@rsquareokeke524 so, you don't know his method. You made a comment like you knew the method, but you actually don't. Thanks for NOT answering my question.

@@samueldeandrade8535 Is that how you make your own conclusions? If not for the sake of clarity, I wouldn't answer you anymore. Srinivasa Ramanujan introduced several methods for solving his own unique mathematical problems, and this methods includes: Mathematical analysis, infinite series, continued fractions and number theory. All the methods has their own formula.

@@rsquareokeke524 again, you don't answer the question. If I ask "What is Ramanujan's method?" the answer can NOT begin with "Ramanujan was an indian ..." I asked about a method, you answer starts describing a person. If that's makes sense to you, YOU should NOT answer me or anyone else anymore. Now yoy just gave a vague answer. Your first comment suggests a specific method to solve the linear system in the video, you don't, can't, say any specific method from Ramanujan related to the question. You are talking from your ... bass. The musical instrument, you know ...
