omg, theres such an easy way for them to explain valtor coming back. bloom didnt fully achieve enchantix in season 3 iirc, so her snuffing out valtors piece of the dragon flame with the fairy dust mightve not fully worked, and thus there is a veryyy small portion of valtors dragon flame left which renders him much weaker than he was in season 3, but still able to pose a threat. and then when he's brought back his mission is to regain his power using the stars or whatever because we need a mcguffin i guess. boom, a way to bring back valtor that makes sense (to me at least lol)

It's important to mention that it is NOT Nickelodeon's fault that the show became childish. Straffi said that HE was the one who made the decision, not Nickelodeon. People should stop blaming Nickelodeon for that (there are PLENTY of other reasons to dislike them).

See a potential way they could've justified Valtor/Baltor staying in his lair and giving orders to minions could've been maybe his experience against the Winx back in the day has humbled him a bit so he decides to play it safer and remain in the shadows until he's ready to confront Bloom again in person. This also could've kept his ego in tact too because what's more egotistical than a villain who can't accept defeat. He could be like 'i'm not hiding because i'm scared. I'm staying out of sight for now, until i'm ready to attack on my terms.' Or something to that effect. One thing i liked about Valtor/Baltor (i grew up with 4Kids so i'm using both names) was in Season 3 despite his ego he would also acknowledge when someone had beaten him. Like there was a level of polliteness to him too. So he could always play off him hiding in his lair as 'i'm just biding my time because i already learned my lesson before.' If that makes sense. Edit: heck maybe even have it where he isn't fully corporeal, and is still weakened from his last fight with Bloom. Similar to The First Evil from Buffy, it's non-corporeal so it can't directly attack alone. Or maybe he can temporarily become corporeal but due to him still being quite weak from Season 3, it takes allot of power that means he has to take time to recharge. Since he has the Dragon Flame he wouldn't need to go looking for an alternate power source or pollution, like Tritanous, all he has to do is wait for it to recharge. And maybe that could be the reason he targets the stars, maybe those can help him recharge faster but he still needs a break.

missed opportunity to have some small part of the darkened dragon fire flee, and eventually find his way to Darkar's Citadel, where the Shadow Phoenix is trying to resurrect himself. Valtor then absorbs the dark fire, regaining his physical form and becoming much stronger. Then they could have Darkar's spirit temporarily side with the Winx to stop him so he can take back his power, and then give him some half-assed backstory and redemption arc.

Valtor was my favorite villain from my favorite season

Nice video🙂👍 Yeah , Valtor in Season 3 is the best villain on winx club and it was shame what they did to him . S8 Valtor is basically just generic villain boss who doesn't nothing much and feel nothing to OG . Fate Valtor while alright antagonist in S2 , is still underwhelmed and his defeat were bad . We pretty much already know the only reason they bought back Valtor is because he's the most popular villain character and pretty much shoved him in without any reason aside being popular to fans .

The Shaman Witch should have been the main villain in Winx Club Season 8 instead of Valtor in fact I also wished the story of Icy's fallen Kingdom of Dyamond has been used in this Season too instead of being abandon.

Seeing the dubs of valtor makes me happy that the brazilian voice actor did a WONDERFUL job

I’d say best way to write these changes is to say due to Bloom’s enchantix being incomplete, her fairy dust couldn’t completely snuff out Valtor’s dragon flame and while it did put him out of commission and possibly consciousness for a while, he’s been spending the past few years pulling himself together but has only managed to become a spirt of sorts. Then one day the Star prince comes and Valtor does what he does best manipulate him into giving the wizard a physical body in exchange for his help in overthrowing his sister. As for his lack of involvement you could say that Valtor’s new body is limited in its magic usage and could risk becoming a spirit once more , so he has to be more of a background boss until he captures this season’s macguffin to get himself up to full power.

valtor looks like alucard and dracula from castlevania like father like son.

I'm so used to the 4Kids dub for Valtor that I feel that that voice fits him more, but to each their own.

Valtor used to generally scare me... still gives horror vibes

Valtor was formidable always doing way better than the trix against the winx in their magic winx form and with every fight they grew stronger with enchantix, i know season 8 is winx original continuation but i hate it so much bcs they forgot that winx fans are older and getting more fans through childish style was so bad and than they made fate which was a miss.

I mean, S8 Valtor is still better than Darkar (I know many like him, but I don't because he doesn't do anything until the last episode), Selina, Acheron, Kalshara and Brafilius. He's about on par with Tritannus. He DOES go out to do stuff on his own occasionally. He's not a complete idiot with dumb plans. The volcano episode was actually a highlight for me because he was manipulative and wise. In fact, seeing Valtor being actually himself in that episode made me think: "if he was written like this throughout the entire season, I don't think many would've hated him". So yeah, a noticable downgrade from his amazing S3 self, but... not bad. Much like the villain, people consider S8 the best thing in the series since S5. I think I like WoW more, but WoW had its own issues (pacing, a repetitive nature and no stakes). But all in all, S8 was an improvement from the abysmal S6 and 7 (which is still not the standard I hold the series on, but I'll take what I can get). Hopefully the reboot is good.

I’d give Darkar a pass as he spends the season working on a different angle using a henchman to gain Bloom’s trust in order to corrupt her and achieve his goal. Basically he was in it for the long game

Yay! I must remember the Walmart version of Valtor from Fate, he's different from Discount Valtor in Season 8! They also turned Tritannus into a discount Anakin from Star Wars, a whiney brat!

Rainbow not only ruined Valtor but also ruined Winx. I think we all have to agree that season 1,2,3 and 4 were the best.

Found you through YT Recommendations. And...if I maybe frank...It was nice to hear you talk about one of my favorite childhood shows. And here is a interesting fact about my country. The Hungarian Dub version of Season 3 has two different versions. The RTL Klub/Cartoon Network version, which is presumingly was dubbed from the Cinélume or Rai Dub. And of course, the Nickelodeon Dub.

I’d also assume that RTL Klub dub was the Cinélume because I’m not sure if 4kids had any way of airing their dub in that region. I don’t know how Tv broadcasting works haha

@@chise_770 It's understandable. And yes. RTL Klub had the rights from the Cinélume dub, so we got those versions from Season 1-3. Then we got the Nickelodeon Dub from Season 3-7. I still don't know if Season 8 was ever aired in my country. Too bad. We, Hungarians also had our fair share of good dubbing qualities. And I am also one of those, who thinks that Season 5 was okay. I liked Harmonix and Sirenix. The transformation sequences were amazing. :) And Tritannus was fine as a villain. At least he gave the Trix the Dark Sirenix powers.

3:13 INFERIOR Fan Favourite Forms of Enchantix & Sirenix (& yes, even the Sirenix forms, I don’t actually care for - hot take as that may be). Only things I liked about reboot Enchantix was the gloves & sandals.

cedric kuhle is valtor for me, i have never heard the other two, cedric is perfect for me cuz of the perfect villan voice.

The dynamic between Obscurum and Valtor was the only thing I liked about him this season. When Obscurum was rescued in the mid season finale, they both became boring and nothing burger ass characters

i grew up with the 4kids dub of Winx Club and that's the version I'll always like the most including his voice there but nicks is a second best choice. For me.

Valtor is givinge the same vibes like Relius Clover. Well except for the fact that Valtor doesn't have an interest for science, space and time phenomenon and turning 2 of his family members into puppets.

will valtor remain dead permanently while argan is redeemed and reunited with dorana and everything will and gonna be okay and fine.

Actually, Valtor was already ruined, his methods are..interesting and all the thing. But. We have to be honest- He had 0 plans, he just saw Bloom and said "yup, that seems like a cool thing to have, lets do it", And it gets worse when u compare him with other villains, bc, he Doesnt care about the consecuences of his actions, wich is nice for a villain an some points of their story (but not always), but he doesnt want to analice those consecuences, wich is a big mistake- He basically acts according to what he wants and when does he want it, but he doesnt take the time to think a lil bit more about it. And about his powers, everything he has is basically stolen- There's no self-credit in almost anything he does, bc he just steal what other person made or did. Its almost like hes not capable of doing things other people can. Season 8 just grabbed all of that and made it WORST wich is absolutelly incredible considering that even my friend told me that hes character could not be worst while he was watching season 3. As I said, Valtor has potencial, the problem is that the writters wanted us to think that he was the most powerfull villain, but when u analice him for a couple of minutes youll find every mistake he makes. (Im personally glad that Iginio continued Winx, just to give us The Black Circle Wizards, who are basically everything he wanted us to think Valtor was, when he wasnt any of the things that they tried to sell us, or at lieast the mayority of things they say about him)

Never aired in my country so far know the last season I only remember is the one with the magic book and that b Ooh had this old friend with green hair and a fairy perant grandmother or something. Afther that season the show ended in my country I believe it never went future so all this quit new to me ^-^;; and you know I'm glad they didn't Air this or arater say they stopped it
