How Propane Tankless Water Heaters Work
Ғылым және технология
Tankless water heaters are compact units that do not have a storage tank. Their size lets builders and contractors place units close to points of use, improving hot water delivery time and reducing waste. And because the water is heated when it's needed, tankless units can supply a nearly endless supply of hot water. Our video shows how tankless units, when correctly sized and installed, can greatly improve the energy efficiency and performance of a home's water heating system.

Should I get the propane or the natural gas tankless? How to decide?

What gasses do they produce (exhaust), is it CO2 or CO?

Its CO2 and h2o.
I thought they worked by just running really powerful heaters along the outer rim of your pipes. When you need hot water, the heaters turn on and heat the water as it travels to you
I hate these. They drop your water pressure and you end up using more water to make up for it. And the maintenance is so annoying
They don't emit less greenhouse gases though. That's misframing the problem
misleading information....these waste lots of water

How? These turn on only when hot water is needed.

@@foundouthowtochangeytnameb1997 yes but they have to replace the cold water that is in the pipes from nozzle back to the heater. .so you spend 5 minutes with the hot water nozzle going till it turns hot !! I lived with this system for 6 years and know what is up ..🙂

@@calicoasting I had Tankless water heaters, I had several other brands, it take barely 7 seconds before the water turns completely hot...don't exaggerate !....they are very efficient.

@@benman8495 I agree, the hot water tank from my basement takes about 15 seconds before it gets hot in the kitchen and the heated water in the tank when it sits a long time eats away much faster at the anode since I have well water high in magnesium. I have to change my heating elements every few years and that is a bitch to replace since it is the bottom elements that give out. I started working for a propane gas company and the tankless water heaters are very popular for homes, cabins, off-grid. So I will get one installed soon since I have the tankless unit, propane reservoir (rented) and vent kit at cost and the installation is free. Yippee!!!
