How Playing In Europe Brought Exum Back To The NBA

Спорт

Dante Exum just played his best month with the Dallas Mavericks yet, which was crowned by a hug from the Mavs owner Mark Cuban. But did you know how much the Australian went through to get here? In this video, we look at Dante’s early career with the Utah Jazz, his move to Europe & the time he got bodyslammed in the EuroLeague playoffs during a Partizan Belgrade - Real Madrid series.

I saw one of ur tweets (from personal account) about some guy who misses a Russian player in Euroleague and how one of u three said something in lines of like u can't miss that player since all russians caused the war. You really believe that players should be ousted out of league? How many times should have USA or for that matter many other countries be ousted? That was very dunb stance. Edit: I just searched and Rytis was the one. So I have decided to dislike your videos from now on. Until i feel satisfied emotionally

R.I.P. Cecil, we liked that guy so much, he was with us on every game, and he was not there only on home games, he was going to away games too! :) We were saying that we started wining away games just bcs of him. xD And when they returned from Madrid we were chearing for his dad too, he was so confused lol, then he pulled his phone out to record it, such a nice moment and lovely guy. So as Dante, Dante gave his heart for our club , and he got the same from us! One love to Exum family!

You'd imagine the league would have taken a stronger view. What happens when Yabusele does it again? The league has a certain duty of care there don't they? If he did it on the street he'd have some very big problems I don't know why you can get away with this if it's professional sports where you do it.

you know I have thought of the same from a very beginning. What picture did euroleague sent to kinds watching TV - get violent and spend 3 days at home until you are free to do it again? I mean the player got injured - so this is has had an impact on the gameplay in the end and had nothing to do with a game rules... weird world we are living in I am afraid.

I still can not believe a player like Dante Exum played for my club PARTIZAN and did what he did to win us back the title we have been waiting for 8 years. So sad he couldnt stay to win us back the title we wait for over 30 years and that is euroleage title, but so happy for him doing great in NBA!! Partizan is huge in Europe but Dante is gonna be huge worldwide and i wish him nothing but the best!! blacknwhite family forever!! Bilo je to slatko, ljuto, kiselo!!!

I watched a video the other day about Exum and his arrival in Dallas. Kudos to the Dallas GM for finding him and bringing him back to life. According to them, the fact that he was coached by one of the best coaches in the world for a year has nothing to do with the fact that he now. Kudos to them for their modesty.

i still remember the pessimistic comments on mavs subreddit when his signing was announced :DD everyone who said good things about him, who watched euroleague was getting downvoted, shit was funny, now they consider him a top5 player on the team, obviously deserved, he has a very high IQ now (thanks to željko obradović mostly, i'd say) and he can do really well alongside Luka and Kyrie. Good on him!

Dante was playing pg and should've played point guard his entire career, so don't be dumb. Under Željko he blossomed to an elite slashing and defensive point guard. Its his natural position and thats why he came to Partizan so he could have more freedom as a pg and sg on offense

Props to him, people were excited to see how Vezenkov and Micic would do in the NBA, but they've both hit rock bottom while he's the one to make it even though he received criticism in his first NBA season. The others are reminiscent of the Spanoulis case.

just quick off topic input: i said on BN post(s) after Partizan x Madrid feud right away "god forbid this altercation turns into Madrid's favour", u know the rest. i appreciate Madrid as an organization and their will to win but just as much i can't accept the dirty culture they exhibit and/or accept. just look at Pepe in football and you'll find Rudy and the rest in basketball. Exum was Exeumberent and we all know who suppose to win the series. peace

Looking forward to Partizan Exum showing up in the NBA. (especially the hammering dunks on everyone but) I'm not sure we are going to see it as long as he is alongside Doncic... Don't think you will see much from anybody as long as they are alongside Doncic.

Examples: Anthony Parker Linas Kleiza Dante Exum P.J Tucker Lance Stephenson Andrei Kirilenko (?) Sergio Rodriguez(?) Want to include Royce O'Neale and Anthony Gill but both didn't played in NBA after NCAA. Anyone have something to add in this list?

Ngl there's a lot of good players in Euro League. But in today's NBA Business sometimes it's only favored to some players. Unless the teams expansion would happen soon like Las Vegas and Seattle. Probably, they will open an opportunity for other really good players abroad which ofcourse with a deseve salary.
