Hi Ron, thanks for watching the video! Here is our current Catalog altheatsupply-ecomitizellc.netdna-ssl.com/media/pdfcatalog/Catalog.v.20A.pdf. Be sure to browse our plate heat exchangers on the websites. The specifications there should be helpful. Let us know if you need any other assistance, we're always a phone call away!

Your videos have been incredibly helpful. Thank you. Any resources for solar power integration? Thinking of a build this summer, trying to keep it completely off grid due to frequent power outages. Thank you, again!

I have tried installing hydronic solar panels to my existing boiler to heat domestic hot water. It didn't work. Sorry that is all I have tried. I'm not a big fan of PV solar (Electricity) It seems cost prohibitive. I use a large military style (Diesel) generator in case of power outages and a simple 275 gallon oil tank to store fuel. I run generator only 4 to 6 hours (Usually at night dinner time and turn off bedtime) a day to fill water storage tanks and keep food cold and wash clothes and charge handful of batteries and Iphones and stuff like that. The rest of the time no generator or I also have a small very quiet honda 1100 watt Generator for small stuff if needed. I have figured out I can run like that for almost a year if needed and not being refilled. I'm kind of a Prepper... LOL Let's Go Brandon!

Love your videos... bought a dragon air heat exchanger and love it best one out there.I got a video idea for ya I've seen people use 2 plate exchanger in parallel. Why would you want to do that? Would it be better to run them individually and tee them inline, splitting the flow into 2 exchangers then back into the line continuing on?

Can these plate heat exchangers be used on a pressurised system like a combi boiler?

Great video. I have an outdoor wood boiler and oil boiler in the house. I got one of your 60 plate heat exchangers to use. I have it on the return side of the oil boiler, Water from the OWB comes in around 170 and comes out 110 when heat is called for in the house. Heating little over 3500 sq ft all on one loop. Is there a way to limit that big heat loss so I'm not sending such cold water back to the boiler?

When your heating a house on one loop it is going to have a large draw of heat. Can you set the house to have several loops? Example a loop for Kitchen and Main tv room, and a loop for upstairs, and a loop dinning room. That will allow the individual zones to recover quickly and rarely all zones are not calling for heat at the same time. Jeff

How many plates would you recommend for a 4000sqft old farm house? Cant get the house above 65 in winter when its 30degrees or lower outside. 55 in the house at the moment and its 1 degree outside.

Sounds like you need to check how it is plumbed first. Sounds like the exchanger is installed in-correctly. Also what is the temp of the inside boiler your heating with your outdoor boiler?

Another video idea, how to size this plate. Example, what size plate exchanger do I need for my water heater?

If your plate exchanger wears out on the boiler side, can boiler water end up in your drinking water?

How is that possible when the home boiler has domestic pressure and the wood boiler is open to atmosphere? Seems to me domestic water would leak into boiler not vice versa?

I have a perfect video for you. Show us how to hook up a 2nd thermostat to run a furnace fan without the electric heating elements coming on. The catch is new furnaces will only run the fan at slow speed during the circulation call, meaning if you only power the fan the board powers it in slow speed. That a Goodman anyway

My very first install at my house was done that way. Then I upgraded to the aquastat way only. Seamless, nice and easy.

@@AltheatsupplyLLC Please do elaborate. I have met with some pretty good techs that cant figure this out and there are zero videos out that show this. Do you sell this aquastat set up? I actually hooked up relays to stop the elements from coming on and I am unhappy. I would love to see a vid on this..

@@rufustoad1 ,they sell the aquastat, comes with very clear wiring directions. I have it hooked up to my furnace and it works awesome. I have it set at 110 degrees, so if the water gets cooler than that my furnace fires the burners, over that it only turns on the fan and uses the hot water. I'm on year two, with zero issues.
