Beyond mistakes that every human generally makes throughout life, I honestly believe there isn't "dirt" to find on the guy. In the sense that he hasn't done something bad enough for people to shift their opinion on him. And the mistakes he does make--though minor--he generally outs himself and corrects. That's my reasoning as to why he and few others like Philip DeFranco etc. feel almost eternal on this platform and have their opinions on random topics carry weight. They give off rational and calming vibes and make it clear when something they're saying is their own opinion or objective.

He wanted to be a comedian without actually going through the grind of hitting up every possible club with material he "meticulously" worked on. Also, like so many have pointed out, he cant handle any form of criticism. Which is hilarious because he was getting a lot of constructive crit.

I’d never heard of him before this but it seems like he never cared about comedy at all. He was intrigued by the lifestyle of famous comedians, he wasn’t interested in perfecting the craft of comedy, he just wanted the fame and respect associated with it. This is a big problem in the social media era, there are now people whose goal in life is just to be famous. It should be a case of, you pick the career you want and for some of them fame is a perk, now people decide the goal is fame and try to figure out the most likely route

I remember watching Charlie’s vid when it came out. It was painful. The fact the dude doubled down, isn’t a surprise… it just beggars belief. It’s only two years ago, feels like 12!

You know I was always looking forward to see a video in which a yt channel actually gets destroyed. especially since the first video I saw of you was about sniperwolf, and it seems that nothing bad happened to her even after everything was out in the open. But now that I saw one where everything did come crashing down, I feel sad for even wanting this to happen to someone. I hope that guy learns and grows in life.

Can I just say that I love how this entire channel is like 90 percent "so Charlie got bored and made a comment and it absolutely murdered another person's ability to be vile." Honestly it's great because it's excellent usage of online research being put into quick snips of "this is how it happened" but hilariously enough it's mostly just Charlie slapping people down for being morons. You do great work IA, keep it up friend.

I went to a concert where Johnny Gioeli from Crush 40 sang songs from Sonic the Hedgehog with music playing in the background. There was technical difficulties at the start with the screen, and although we had to stand around for 20 minutes, it was 500x more worth it than whatever the hell that Def Noodles roast show was.

Charlie has a lot of decency, he is smart and stayed with both feet on the ground and that‘s why he is able to simply hold up a mirror towards people who wrongly come at him. The viewers are then able to see what’s in the mirror. So Charlie doesn’t choose anyone’s audience, he just makes people‘s indecency visible.

I was a Def Noodles fan when this was all happening and Charlie was just sort of saying out loud what we were already seeing and being confronted with. Def Noodles was actually really Insulting towards his own content and fanbase during this time, too. So Charlie didn't end Def Noodles, Def Noodles just blames Charlie since he still can't believe his audience left him on their own. It all comes down to Def's ego issue that IA is talking about throughout the video.

That short clip of the roast was PAINFUL. People who sat through all of it deserve psychiatric counseling. My favorite thing about Def Noodles' fall is that people would have been FAR less likely to roast him and go after him if he hadn't picked a fight with Internet Jesus. Going after Charlie instead of taking his jokes and critiques at face value is how you begin a long line of self-destruction and it's because Charlie is very down to earth and, unless you're being a creep or committing a crime, will make jokes and offer some advice. If you can't handle the most softball criticism, you have made yourself a hard target.

Dennis's comedy career was bad, but that's not what killed his channel, that killed what was left of his YT career. He stopped wanting to be the cat in the Minecraft house and changed his format. That alienated most of his viewers who were not into it. That's what set him off and led to what is in this video, which I've seen before. We've all seen this video before, right?
