Hey, do you know KZread channel "JAZZ TUTORIAL with Julian Bradley" ? Its autor Julian has his own concept of ear training and basically it's grounding on theory that you should be transposing all music in one same key, so you can through period of time start to hear similarities between musical pieces because you won't be distracted by change of keys and also it gives you kind of one tonal context, he mentioned too that it's better to work in tonal/musical context rather than outside of that. So I would like to know are you similar with his theory because your and his concepts looks familiar in some ways that I describe above, and this two theories can be applied to each other

Hi, thanks for reaching our. I've heard of his approach, our is quite different. I wouldn't personally suggest to stick to one single key and transpose everything to that, in our experience this is unnecessary and could potentially create other issues. There are many other aspects to ear training that are not tackled by that approach. I suggest you check out our website and watch our free workshop to learn more about our method and how it differs from others like the one you mentioned.
