The beauty of “what does it mean to be strong.” Can be summarized in the first episode. With Ippo. He’s someone who get hit over and over by life and all of its bullies, but Ippo never changes. He’s gentle and kind to everyone that he meets. You meet many boxers who are extremely talented and powerful but they are vile, and angry at the world. Ippo never is, where life hits him he responds with a hug. He’s been wondering what it means to be strong since the beginning but he’s been the strongest one all along.

At the lowest point of my life I watched Hajime no Ippo and it changed my life forever. I started boxing, lost weight, gained confidence and won Bronze Medal in the National Amateur Championship. I don’t fight anymore but the lessons I learned from Ippo, I use them regularly in other aspects of my life to get better at them. Its great to see other people having similar experiences by reading the comment section. Keep pushing everyone.

What does it mean to be strong? On a introvert level, to take yourself past your limits? On an extrovert level, to beat everyone infront of you. On an ambivert level, to take yourself past your limits and beat everyone simultaneously while humbly gloating how great you are. Wisdom, the fact you're not dead and can share your experience. Wisdom is experience, so if you don't experience, you gain no knowledge. Don't fear failure, learn from it, use it to do better. Every anime ever with a open ended happy new adventure ending, like it's about to begin when it's over. But it's not wrong. Some might see strength as dedication. Do you fail on purpose or with purpose? What do you do after you achieve your goal? Make new ones. It's ok to add to a goal, as much as branch out for new goals. Just be realistic in the goals set, makes life easier.

Very well done. Let's not forget the huge role of the undefeated mentor Takamura who continues to win so that Ippo can continue looking ahead for his answer. Not only did Takamura spark the first steps of Ippo into the boxing world but without him Ippo would've abandoned boxing on so many occasions. In a sense, he is the embodiment of the strength that Ippo looks for.

I particularly loved the way you transmit its positive message in your own words, very inspiring! It is deffinitely a video for people who have watched all the anime, and loved the story as much as I. I could even say that I hope it gets viral and motivates more people to watch it, making it so popular that we can get all the story animated until its end. Still, I think you should warn about the great spoilers😅. Great work mate! Keep them coming.👍🏼

The show really isn’t about boxing. It’s about the hard work, and overcoming the self doubt he experiences, to accomplish his goals, while retaining himself. And the series does a good job focusing on Ippo’s relentless training. The anime opening really says it all, highlighting the extensive training and work that Ippo is going through, the constant refinement of his skills, and only the brief moment at the end where Ippo puts that training to use. The journey is the highlight of the series. This is why this hits so close to home for the audience.

Also you need some good habits to replace the bad ones and combat sports might be your Best bet in this regard.

Awesome video, I went to a very similar transformation training bjj (been doing it for 6 years). The fighting spirit, determination, humility lessons and conquering self doubts can be experienced in any martial art that actually has sparring and competition. I watched IPPO for the first time a few months ago and he is literally me, even the personality of Takamura reminded me of one of the bjj coaches in my gym.

Hajime No Ippo and Vinland Saga Has litrally changed my life I had a test in school in 2023 and that is when I had watched this anime. Ippo had inspired me to work hard so much that I got 94% percentage in my first physics test on Quantum Physics. I was getting 50% before this. Since then every test, i give it my all. I always think it is like one of ippo's match, and i WON'T Give up to my weaknesses. And I rewatch episodes on KZread whenever i feel weak. I want to be a STRONGER and Kinder Person. Like Ippo Makunouchi. Like Thorfinn Karsefni.

Fact that this vid has more likes than you have subscribers is criminal. Its also quite telling of your potential as a creator. Earned my sub. Keep it up.

The quote "What does it mean to be strong" was such a Standing point for every kid who wanted To be strong, Hajime no Ippo was always an Anime meant for everybody of any genre, and that is the true beauty of Hajime no Ippo, It's an Anime that is for everyone and Doesn't have to be for people that like boxing or Fighting in general, It's for Everyone, Every man on this planet wether they are interested in the anime or not Will always find themselves Deep inside this Boxing anime, It's Truly Superb that an anime can be so Simple but so Inspirational, It's crazy

Exactly. The boxing really is an aside, it only happened to be what Ippo happens to get involved with, and interested in. The real highlight of the show, and the Season 1 opening shows this off well, is the journey. The countless hours of training, and fighting against self doubt.

it makes sense not gonna lie i felt kinda stupid and pathetic that an anime made me realise i gotta keep trying and i've got to change my life and my attitude to life , i've always been the quiet and shy kid and overwieght and i was too scared and too nervous to start changing myself and working on my personality and body but thanks to this anime everything changed im not shy or awkward anymore and i've actually started boxing just because i watched Hajime No Ippo but put that all aside this anime is really underrated it moved my heart in every episode and not gonna lie it made me cry here and there but to be honest im just greatful that i watched it and if a friend of mine or just anyone ask me '' im trying to get into anime, what do you recommend me to watch?'' i would 100% tell them to watch Hajime No Ippo

No need to feel stupid. Hajime no Ippo is really not about the boxing. It’s about the journey, the relentless training and constant battles against self doubt.
