This was a pure masterclass. Fantastic! As an Electrical Engineer I get how amazing God has laid out science for us all to see and marvel at. It's mesmerizing and I LOVE how he laid so much to bare for all to see. Then he gives us men like these to show us....."LOOK, here it is. Plain as day!"

I heard a debate where the skeptic asked “why don’t you creationists write scientific articles for peer review and submit to journals?” I know why, but it’s still a good question. We need to have documents published online for others to run with. So many souls are being lost to ‘higher’ education.

These people do publish in their fields- a quick google search of their names will tell you this. But as regards the lack of ID and YEC research in secular science journals, this is easy- it's called institutional bias. The modern scientific-naturalist worldview contains unexamined presuppositions that, ironically enough, function as dogma in the scientific disciplines. In other words, you won't get a job or grant money if you don't accept certain ideas. Anyone who thinks that institutional science functions as some sort of idealistic search for truth has no clue how the system actually works; in practice, it ultimately comes down to money and politics. The whole modern world rests on evolution, an old earth, and naturalistic explanations for the origin of the universe. If these dogmas turn out to be false, then modern regimes lose their justification. There are journals popping up to counter this ideological echo-chamber like Inference and Bio-Complexity, but most ID advocates and YECs publish academic books because they don't have any other choice. A good example of someone who publishes in their field would be Dr. James Tour

A good speaker does not tell you what is right , don't get caught up in the speaker , it is the point thar counts. This guy didn't take time to understand that what they are age processing is the petrified body's if creatures of Gigantuous size and we live on top of these dead creatures who's body's have turned into rock. Once they realize that human's today are not the first human's to walk this planet before the flood. We are as small as ants and grasshoppers compared to the first human's that were titans and over 2 miles tall. All formations above the oceanic water's are body parts of these creatures and you have been taught to call it land or contenants. The truth is what you ask for but when you get truth, you have no place to put it. Be careful of what you seek, you just might find it and scare you enough to dismiss it. Seek and yee shall find. Once you find , you shall be amazed. He that finds shall never taste death.

Comets are not dirty snowballs. The Thunderbolts project has a number of KZread videos reporting the latest information we have about comets and asteroids. Apparently they are material blown off of planets from electrical discharges between planets in the early days of our solar system.

Great program. I'm not a Christian. I am a creationist because of the compelling arguments made by the likes of Dr. Snelling.

I haven't seen any. Outfits like Answers in Genesis, out of necessity, build their own museums / venues, and tend to self publish rather than try to foot it in mainstream literature or debate forums. Jehovah's witnesses and others do the same. As you can see from the comments here, they have a captive, but limited audience who are likely neither equiped or interested in contesting what they produce because it confirms their biases.

So that's at least one formal debate that AIG has done. And if I recall, Dr. Jason Lisle and Ken Ham had a debate with Dr. Hugh Ross on young earth vs old earth.

Well we actually do, it is surprisingly easy to image the interior of the earth using seismic vibrations and waves.

A question of where you start counting....All matter, heaver than Hydrogen, is created in successive consolidations and explosions of Stars.....Hence the age of any particular matter is the time since the last cycle and each cycle produces ever more dense matter... The last cycle that we can detect is called a Black Hole but that is not the end for extreme energy has been detected being expelled from it's poles.....

What about the reset of Argon 40 when the rock is in a liquid state? Scientists say that Argon 40 leaves the rock as a gas before the lava solidifies. That explains the assumption that there was no Argon 40 when the lava was solidified.

If you research any papers regarding k/ar dating in known age rocks, you'll see that the idea that all argon boils out of magma/lava before cooling, inst just sometimes wrong, it's wrong in every recorded instance.

This is not an actual celestial event of sun, moon and stars. This is a quick overview of Israel and the Messiah. Cross reference this with Joseph's dream Genesis 37:9 (sun, moon and stars represent his father, Jacob and his brothers i.e Israel). Read all of Chpt. 12 for full context. The woman spoken of is Israel. Verses 3 and 4 speak of Satan and his fallen angels. Verse 4 depicts Satan waiting for "her" (Israel) to deliver the Messiah and kill Him. Remember the decree to kill all male children? Verse 5" And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron (Jesus): and her child was caught up unto God, and to His throne (Ascension of Christ after resurrection).

Many thanks Dr Andrew for this clear lecture. The flood is referred to as the major catastrophe. After the fall, we are told that God cursed the ground. Maybe this was a further catastrophe.

Ok I do not understand why you would call it true age as of the time the basalt emerged at the surface as opposed to the age of the parent rock. To me the age of creation is the true age. The age it surfaced is the age it surfaces and began weathering. I have always complained some geologists fail to understand that lava is NOT "new rock" simply because it melted (magma) then flowed (lava) then hardened at the surface. Its radioactivity did not change that. Melting and freezing is a physical change, it did not just then get "created". It merely melted just like ice melting then getting frozen. Radioactivity changes over time as the rate of decay from the date of creation.

I caught that too. Here in the US we have SOOO many accents. I know of at least 4 different southern accents. Many people from other parts of the Us think of only one. My parents were a "mixed" marriage. Atlanta GA and Tennessee. Two very different accents lol.

I have to ask the question because when we are talking about experts on our side of the fence in regards to biblical text and what the age of the Earth is and what's above our heads, i really wish that i would see this topic discussed. And there are many topics in biblical text that i have never seen covered by any of these guys. I'll focus on the main one since this is more direct to their fields. But in is Genesis history the full movie (which I honestly did enjoy) God using a water ball to create the Earth was highlighted. Why aren't we ever looking into the fact that biblical text references a firmament. If you look at images/drawings that have been done using Hebrew text as a guideline, they all highlight waters above the firmament, a flat plane earth with the great deep underneath it and the earth resting on pillars. They also highlight a local Sun and Moon which actually does make more sense. I can even say it's been witnessed and captured on video. But back on topic directly, what is a Plane is geometry. It is a flat 2 dimensional surface that can only be measured in length and width, but can come in any shape, eg a square, a circle, a triangle and so on. Why is a Plane ✈️ called a Plane. The unbiased question asked online as the top answer is this word for word “In the French from which it was borrowed, the 'plane' is related to a geometrical plane (flat surface), which then became the name of the flat parts of flying machines that allow them to achieve lift,” So can someone please explain how the word Plane clearly meaning a flat surface, can end up being a round ball by simply adding the letter "T" onto the end of the word Plane. Biblical text makes no reference to a planet or planets, globes, space, and as also highlighted by yourselves, no mention of a Universe. So are we just ignoring the text or making up a reason why Universe wasn't a word in the Hebrew language. More transparency and discussion is needed, especially when it's right up these guys alley. So if it's not written in the text, then these terms have come from somewhere else. Do you really think that if god had made all of these planets, that they wouldn't have been mentioned as such. Sun moon and stars. Our entire history is full of star and planet worship. All of these gods. The space shuttle Apollo. Greek God. The space rocket Artemis, Greek Goddess and the sister of Apollo. Satellites named ISIS. The Egyptian God originally. Our $ symbol is nothing more than the letters of ISIS overlaid over one another.

Radioactive rates are affected by electrical interference, as well as contamination. So lightning strikes can change the ages of the ages or rocks and bones. Love this channel as it gives history without the blinders of Uniformity. Thank you to all.

I have a question, based on the theory that the Earth is about 6000 years old, astronomers discovered a space object (I don't remember if it was a galaxy or a nebula) emitting radio waves .(and they arrived for now) the distance of this object is about 2 or 3 billion light years (in other words, light takes this time to get here) ... But the question is whether the earth is 6000 years old How could the light have reached Earth in a shorter time?

Thank you, great lecture. Wish there was K-8 curriculum based on this type of perspective. School kids need to be presented with the truth about competing secular vs Biblical scientific worldviews.

Yes, but the curriculum authority in your country must also incorporate explanations of more than just the Flood. YEC people would need to also explain the science of many asteroid impact craters left on Earth by God, and also explain why no ancient texts mention these, despite most being far larger than the Flood. Ditto for vulcanism. Ditto for ancient evidence, again directly attributed to God for massive stellar explosions that we are just seeing, but for stellar events that actually happened millions of years ago. YEC advocates explain these events by saying God created the light in transit, or God changed the laws of physics at some time. It's going to be hard to put this in a science curriculum that science teachers will not ridicule. As a Christian teacher, I would have a problem teaching that God has not told the truth here. In my country I taught alongside many science teachers - Many were atheist, and only some were Christians, plus an increasing number were devout Sikhs, Muslims, Buddhists, and Hindus. My students also came from similarly diverse backgrounds.

Key word. Competing. Some world views survive scrutiny with credibility, others don't. The Biblical view is not scientific and has its place among those that don't stack up.

Assuming all data is linear is a fault to start. Location is dynamic, weather is dynamic and all other factors! Assumptions are the beginning pattern of being off course! As the wind is Dynamic so is life itself. The environment is in constant flux...this is a dynamic fact!

@@notme3517 My only suitable answer is one that cannot be substantiated by physical evidence. Judging by the Fossil record the Flood first affected the lower order of marine life, tossing them up upon the land masses. Now, judging from the archeological evidence of footprints left in wet clay, it appears that the creatures on the land had opportunity to flee the floodwaters for a time before being completely immersed. Hence, the reason their remains are found in the higher sediments deposited by the flood. So, it may be plausibly assumed that men had some time with which to inadequately prepare by finding some form of flotation or fleeing to higher ground. This suggests that their bodies remained eithet buried in the top layers of sedimentation or else upon the re-emerging land when the flood waters abated. This in turn means that their bodies were consumed rather than being preserved in the fossil record. There are other legends and myths such as some being transformed into aquatic creatures; but, of course, these are legends of the supernatural and I am sticking to the more naturalistic explanation.

Actually there are rare examples of human skeletons being found in layers to deep should have. The most famous of which is a pair of inarticulate remains that were partially fossilized and were uncovered deep in a mining query. They only explaination given about the skeletons is that they were somehow native American burials. Which makes not alot of sense at all given the circumstances.

@@VaxtorT - Most human remains were utterly destroyed during the Global Flood, and understandably so. However, fossilized human bones HAVE been found in what is referred to as the lower Cretaceous layer, which would mean they must be around 140 million years old if we use the unscientific evolutionary stratigraphic dating method. That places them solidly in the middle of the time-period during which dinosaurs supposedly roamed the Earth. The find is called Malachite Man, and evolutionary anthropologists refuse to even look at it because it destroys their entire paradigm. 10 skeletons were found - 5 men, 4 women and 1 infant. Below is a video link. The portion about the Malachite Man begins at 2hrs 10 minutes into the video, and goes for 30 minutes, though I believe the entire video is worth watching. Can't post the link, so you'll have to find it. Title - *Don Patton - Co-existence of man and dinosaurs (all 4 videos)* It is around 4hrs 10min long, but again, start at 2hrs 10min for Malachite Man. So he mentions how the magnetic field changes according to how the motion of molten core changes direction. Makes since. The motion probably changes due to the precession of the earths axis. The time it takes for the precession to occur is a known ro be approximately 25000 years. That would account for the numerous changes in the poles. That's a fact. We have ice cores that prove the duration of ice ages. There's indisputable evidence that civilizations existed during the ice age when the sea levels were lower are now covered. I believe the last ice age, we are still coming out of , but the sea levels rose about 12000 years ago. Salvation isn't based on the age of the earth. Stop arguing inconsequential things.

Incorrect. The ice core dates are based on assumptions too, try finding out what they are, and think how the flood affected them. There was one post-flood ice age where sea levels were a lot lower. It is not inconsequential - every book of the New Testament treats Gen 1- 11 as history. It stands together.

that's a bizarre thing to say ''we don't know because we weren't there'' iv'e been hearing this lately and couldn't get my head around it at first because one doesn't need to have been there to see a thing happen with their own eyes in order to know it took place. A good example of this from your own worldview is any one of the things God supposedly said in Genesis creation narrative.

The Gap theory would have Satan's fall before man was created. Also before the Sun, Moon, and stars were created on day 4. That goes directly against Jobs account of there creation. Day and night when used together means 24 hours. Day and night when used with a number means 24 hours. I have listened to Andrew Murray and that doesn't mean I believe his opinion. @Ric Rovey Why are you putting a time stamp on Satan's fall? Yes God did create the earth out of nothing. Like the Sun, Moon, and Stars. No He didn't create plants, animals or man out of nothing. Birds and sea creatures out of water. Except for the birds He created in front of Adam. Land animals and man from the ground. Including the ones He formed in front of Adam. All other statements about the gap theory are those read into scripture. Just like men do with Genesis 6. They twist the scriptures to fit a man made belief. There is only mention of 1 fall not 2 falls. Genesis 1:31 could not be written if sin and Satan had already fallen.

When was the Sphinx built? It shows indisputable evidence of water erosion. When did it rain enough to erode the sphinx? About 12000 years ago.

We can all agree Oil, gas and coal deposits came from huge deposits of decaying vegetation when dinosaurs roamed and all that required huge amounts of water. Enough water then in the atmosphere for a later flood and further proof the earth is not young

I don't doubt there was a global flood. There are too many worldwide accounts of it including the bible. But I don't think that the earth is as young as some creationists believe. I think a lot of so called pre recorded history has been lost due to numerous cataclysmic events including the flood. Another point I'd like to make is that I am not an evolutionist. Monkeys have always been monkeys and humans have always been humans. But I do believe animals may adapt and change with the environment over time. That does not mean it results in new species though. God created the heavens and the earth, man, woman, and every animal. I just think the time line used by creationists is wrong and they think that if you don't believe that way you don't believe the word of God. That's bullcrap and it divides people. What really matter is John 3:16.

I believe both ages as Genesis states "The earth became void" (if you take it to the Strong's concordance you'll see that was the true meaning, and not "the earth was void.")

This is topic I find most fascinating, particularly in light of the electric universe's theory of the 12,000 year disaster cycle, which would effectively wipe out the Earth and require everything to be restarted. (See Suspicious0bservers and Thunderbolts Project YT channels if you aren't familiar with the theory.) I'm still not sold either way.

Gen 1:2a "The earth was without form, and void;" "Was" - hāyâ = to be, become, come to pass, exist, happen, fall out i a) to happen, fall out, occur, take place, come about, come to pass b) to come about, come to pass ii - to come into being, become a) to arise, appear, come b) to become i) to become ii) to become like iii) to be instituted, be established iii - to be a) to exist, be in existence b) to abide, remain, continue (with word of place or time) c) to stand, lie, be in, be at, be situated (with word of locality) d) to accompany, be with -- The word hāyâ has many meanings, so it depends on the context. The context is "In the Beginning", and there is no sign of a gap of time between the first and second sentence other than the verse number which wasn't part of the original - chapter and verse numbers have been added recently, and are not inspired. "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void;" It is all part of the same thought. Simply doing "a word study" when looking at ancient, more complicated languages, is foolish. You need to know the language in question, not just look up a word and then pick another of it's "meanings". When we do that, we are able to twist it so that it says whatever we want it to say. To try and pick another meaning for hāyâ in this instance is flying in the face of the correct grammatical reading in Hebrew, and is ignoring the context of the rest of Genesis, as well as ignoring and calling a lie the rest of the Scriptures. If there was "an earth" before us, and therefore life before Adam, life which was killed off due to sin and Lucifer's fall... then the blame for sin and death being squarely on Adam is a lie. Also, God's statement regarding Lucifer "being in Eden" until iniquity was found in him is a lie. Also, God's statement in Genesis that all things were "very good" at the end of the 6th day is a lie. How could it be very good if a fallen Lucifer and other angels were knocking around? How could it be "very good" if there were condemned souls of "pre-Adamic peoples" existing? How could God say that sin and death were Adam's fault when sin and death entered the universe before Adam came to be? Context, context, context. The Bible isn't a pick-and-mix. Either accept it all, or reject it all. Picking and choosing does nothing but confuse you and others.

The truly amazing thing is, until Albert Einstein elucidated his Theory of Special Relativity, ideas like these were relegated to science fiction. Today, this is scientifically possible in this universe. Now, think about the 6 days of creation, spoken about in the Book of Genesis. From who’s perspective, are these days given? Since man is not created until the 6th day-and the Bible says we are still in the 7th day, they must be from God’s perspective. Therefore, if time is relative for God, he can “live” 1,000, or 10,000 or 100,000 or 1 Billion years in one 24 hour Earth day. And, again, conversely, a 24 hour period of time could pass for God, yet a billion years could pass on Earth. Since this IS A SCIENTIFIC possibility, and not simply speculation, this can go a long way to reconcile the young Earth, old Earth Debate

Because the proposed naturalistic origin of comets has them form at the same time as the begining of our solar system. If this were the case operating on a deep time paradigm all the comets would have formed, and disintegrated by now.

I fail to see how any form of radioactive dating of volcanic rocks is valuable because wouldn't the rocks we find have radioactive components that decay at the same rate no matter whether they are molten in the mantle or cooled on the surface? If that is true, the half life would have to match whatever is found in the mantle today forever since they had the same source! Since we do see differences, this means that the magma that formed the rocks could not have possibly have had consistent levels of radioactive components to start with! The idea that location in either the mantle or on the surface is irrelevant of course assumes perfect mixing of components in the mantle at all times, but you cannot possibly identify parent atom to daughter atom quantities without this. And if you don't assume perfect mixing to start with, the premise of radioactive dating isn't remotely possible to start with either. The whole notion of dating volcanic rocks appears to be totally flawed!

This is why I say that believing in evolution and atheism is like having a learning disability. When a person struggles with a learning disability they have trouble learning the core competencies of a particular ideology and struggle with reading comprehension and other critical thinking skills. Atheists definitely present as people struggling with core competencies and learning problems since they cannot logically work through any potential evidence of creationism. Evolution is more of a learning disability than a belief system

Snelling is being misleading in misquoting Carl Sagan’s book “Comet” in referring to the Oort Cloud. It actually reads ‘ Yet there is not yet a shred of direct OBSERVATIONAL evidence for its existence”, meaning those comets have not been observed by telescope.

Speaking of which, Jesus said the poor is always with you (Matthew 26:11 KJV). But this verse isn’t saying we shouldn’t help those who are poor and it’s sad I have to say that nowadays. Christians should still help those suffering from poverty and hunger in need with compassion as Jesus did (Mark 8:2 KJV) and when we help the needy we honor our Creator (Proverbs 14:31 KJV). But your lack of respect for “this type of stuff” (which is called apologetics) is not following God’s word. Apologetics is written in God’s word which is a command to be ready always to give an answer to those who ask for the reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear (1 Peter 3:15 KJV). The absence of following God’s word to utilize apologetics is the main reason why young people are leaving the church. This is why we do what we do so next time you should find out why creation science ministries spend a great amount of time, energy and resources in this activity before you criticize it.

Maybe not a question for a geologist, even one like this guy who lies and distorts reality to try push his fictitious narrative.

A geologist making comments about astronomical events, like comets, is way out of his wheel house. His quote, "We are making assumptions." There are quite far fewer assumptions with an Old Earth view point. The reason we still have mountains is because tectonic plates are still moving. And his erosion of continents doesn't even take into account volcanoes, skipping over a whole lot of information. He is leaving an amazing amount of science off the table in his discussion.

The continental movements are not fast enough to cause landforms to replace the erosion. Also the majority of landforms observed are flat sedimentary. Volcanoes do not produce that.

I believe since rotten speech is only going back about 4400-4500 year ago, that the Earth can only be a couple thousand years older than that, at most.

I'm curious as to whether Dr Snelling has actually read the bible. I haven't. I've read a translation of the bible in English. I think anyone interested in a Christians perspective on the old earth (ie consistent with the contemporary scientific view) take a look at John Lennox and his book/lectures "7 Days That Divide The Earth" and an interesting point he (Lennox) makes is "What does the bible ACTUALLY say" in regards to Genesis 1 which I think directly conflicts with Snelling's claim that the bible gives us "Clear advise on how the world began." He notes that we get a lot of information in view few words which means we need to be EXTREMELY careful in the interpretation of such sophisticated writing. According to Lennox' research the first part of Genesis (Before "And God said "Let There Be Light") is written in a tense that says it's an indeterminate time past. It then switches to God's creation days. He notes that there's an order however the wording and process is interesting. eg it says "Day one, Day two... Day five, THE sixth day, THE seventh day." Why is this different? He also notes that there are two days where God speaks twice - Day three and Day six. The creation of life and the creation of humans. It's interesting. I think he raises some interesting points however I think his conclusions are ultimately weak. There are definitely gaps in the knowledge and very little in science gets challenged down the road because so much is built on previous work. It does need to get challenged occasionally, if for no other reason than to verify it against newer understandings. To check that it still holds up. I'm curious about the comets (I'm a space person), but I think that to say "It doesn't quite fit" ignores 1) That we understand so little about the universe and 2) assumes that the assumed origin is the only other explanation. Both flawed assumptions. I'll defer to his authority as a geologist, because I've never paid attention, but I think it's important to remember that reading an English translation of the bible doesn't give the scientific recipe of the past and CERTAINLY doesn't give the full narrative of creation when some nuance is lost to translation. It'd be interesting - ignoring the bible (something Christians so do every so often :P ) - to have him sit down with another geologist who holds opposing views and let them discuss their theories.

God was not standing on planet Earth when he was creating it [or the solar system] so He was not bound by our time, and therefore did not create it in 6 literal Earth days [or 6x24 hr periods or revolutions]. So, as we are told by Peter, it took 6000 years.

This is where you have to look at Christian Apologetics on that passage. No where is it indicated that Genesis chapter 1 means more than literal 24 hr days. Back then they may not have gone off of 24 hr days, but their day would be morning and then the evening, meaning less than several years between days because it was a true/literal morning and the evening.

if we have a 24,000 yr full cycle then they may return to source. With them being less than 10,000 yrs old a 12,000 yr mark would they congregate (|by space terms over a decade in a general area) on an opposite side? and the point in between what goes out must come back are the farthest away points on either side, therefor right now is the time to determine the 6,000 yr age if they are the farthest point away from source and a computer model AI should be able to calculate it.

@@suzannehartmann946 - I hope not! But who can say? I can tell you this.. comets were made in the same way as planets and moons; in and of WATER. Modern science would have us believe that the minerals form from cooling magma. Very few will form that way. The vast majority are crystalline in nature, and they grow in super-saturated water like all natural crystals. That is why they contain water inside like giant geodes. By the way, the Earth is not full of magma.. it is full of water and rock. So, when someone asks where the water came from to flood the entire Earth-- that is the answer. Where did it go afterward? Back inside where it came from.

32 different layers of sedimentary rock that the Grand Canyon displays totally debunks this speech. Quite just making assumptions that fit your narrative. How many years per layer? Different species found in different layers, laid down during different times.

If in fact you did any research other than watch nuts like this guy, you would know that you can't carve out the Grand Canyon at the same time you are laying 32 different layers of sedimentary rock, many with footprints, and fossils. @Ric Rovey Life as we know it evolved from the Earth, and most likely in a hot puddle of water on a volcanic land mass; this is the most recent and plausible explanation. This scenario has come from a number of scientists, who have spent years researching the subject, David Deamer being just one. It makes sense to many people, as with so many other solar systems in the milky way galaxy, and so many galaxies in the known universe, it shows that under the right circumstances, life can start anywhere. Which makes more sense than believing in someone who doesent exist.

The Earth is approximately 4.5 billion years old, the Solar System is approximately 4.6 billion years old and the universe is approximately 13.8 billion years old. Anyone who doesn't believe that doesn't believe in science.

We are to use pottery of known ages to work out the strength of the magnetic field over the last few 1000 years. Oddly enough these measurements don't support a progressive decay. I will find a cite.

How old is the Earth? Uh, at least 14 years?

The Bible mentions six creative days and absolutely no mention of how long those creative days were in length of years. We do know from the Bible that Adam was created at the very end of the 6th creative day. And between Genesis there to Revelations and Armageddon never mentions the 7th day ending nor does it mention it ending after the 1,000 year reign of Christ afterwards either. To put things in perspective those creative days most likely had been hundreds of thousands of years in length and combined to millions of years. It best explains Science and Bible truths more realistically as well. The Flood was both world wide Volcanic Eruptions which resulted in massive heating of the globe, fractured ground waters pushed up from the watery deep and by rains brought on by the Volcanoes dust, ash and clouds covering the earth. This also melted the polar ice caps which probably by a years end afterwards began re freezing snows for a long enough period of time to allow the waters to resend as well. Proof was in the pudding because Fossils require a mixture of both soils and ash to allow concretion to form several of the layers of rock we see today above everything in the Nonconformity layer up. The Bible also explains that one year to God and the Angels is equal to 1,000 years to mankind. However mankind has only been on the earth a tad over 6,100 years.

Biggest problem is earth isnt a "planet" nor are any of those other lights in the firmament.
