Correction he didn't "smash" anything. Chichi set up a special ceremony (with wedding dress and all) and then she prepared everything in order for Goku to obtain "special training" that would unlock his potential by him doing the "power release" 💦. Goku and Vegeta used Hyperbolic time chamber couple of times So its should be count as well

Even in his 50s Goku looks like he's in his early 20s because Vegeta explains that saiyan are a warrior race. They never lose their youthfulness because they were born for combat. Even if a saiyan is in their 90s they'll look like they're in their 40s because they'll always retain their youthfulness so they can fight longer. They can obviously still die in battle but no Saiyan will basically ever look elderly.

I feel like some important info is needed tho, while it's his ages in the calendar, physically he's younger. He spent a year dead with king kai, spent a year in the time chamber during the cell saga, was dead again for 7 years and was 3 years in the time chamber before the universe 7 vs 6 arc. All and all 4 years younger.. also holy moly is he a young grandfather

He was with Gohan until 4, then Piccolo raised him. Then Goku died twice, and he spent the little time he had with Gohan in the hyperbaric time chamber where Gohan tells Goku Piccolo , " You'd be a weak teacher and he was RIGHT"!! Then Goku dies again and doesn't meet Goten until he's 7 years old. Then, he offers Supreme Elder Kai Bulma as a prize to help turn a blind eye to the Dragonballs. Vegeta is furious, and Goku says "sorry Vegeta but Bulma is in better shape than Chi Chi, and Chi Chi would kill me. Showing he is familiar with perversion in general since his first introduction to Bulma is her flashing him and Krillin bringing Master Roshi Dirty Magazines. He knows of these things but doesn't feel anything for them. When he takes off Bulma's panties and later she flashes master roshi, thinking she had them on and that was ok. She wants the opposite of Goku that's what Gohan will be. Then he'll be perfect. Chi Chi is always convinced and understands when she needs to let her sons go and fight, but very much doesn't like it. At the beginning of GT, Goku is like, whoops, I haven't been home in years. Chi Chi's probably going to be mad. Then he gets turned into a kid, making old ugly rotting corpse neglected Chi Chi just look that much more decrepit when next to Goku. Forget about any passionate makeup love making. Which obviously the only 2 times that Chi Chi could convince Goku to stay to get on top of him resulted childbirth, which with Goku's simple mind once he's had his he's probably knocked out and she didn't get hers but thats ok still got a baby thats all that matters. Essentially, Chi Chi is used to not being satisfied and neglected and lets herself go more and more. For that matter, Bulma the richest person on the planet, the smartest, the person who has access to the dragon balls and often just has them preemptively collected and in a safe, just in case anyone else on earth wants access to them. In Super, Bulma wishes every few years to reverse her age 5 years over and over. Meanwhile, Chi Chi is a farmer who barely scrapes by can't even help a homie out. I mean, our kids are essentially best friends, cousins, brothers. It's cool though you are older than me, and look 34 while I look 55. No worries, I'm sure it's fine. Later in Super, Future Trunks chews a senzu, and baby bird feeds it into Future Mai's mouth. To which Goku says "Trunks how can you have your mouths touch like that?" Making Vegeta furiously scream, but you're married!!! Then Goku says, "What's that got to do with anything?" Then Vegeta came to the realization that Goku had never once kissed his wife. Also in Z, when Goku comes to earth for a day as a dead guy through Baba, then they end up dealing with the incompetence of East Supreme Kai, essentially resurrecting Buu himself. So finally Goten gets to meet Goku, ahh never mind cut short. Then when Goku is out of time and has to go, he's just leaving without saying bye to Goten and la la la. No worries, I'm sure you all got Buu handled. Then Goten is like mmmm what about me?!?! Then Goku is like, "Oh yeah, uhh, here's a hug, I guess." Then Goku is like, all right enough already. Let go now. Jeez, finally. Can I go now? Then who could forget when Goku and Vegeta were flying away from Buu's blast that destroyed the earth. At the last moment, he flew down and scooped up Mr. Satan and the dog and Dende. To which Vegeta angrily is saying how could you save them over our sons!?! Just after they got them out of Majin Buu. Who were essentially equally within reach. This is a double-edged sword because Goku just saved and protected someone who couldn't defend themselves if he chose. Over Gohan, Goten, Trunks who actually are warriors who died in battle. Vs Dende and Mr. Satan, who were just innocent bystanders. Nonetheless, if he didn't choose, they were closer on the way they were already headed. Then, of course, Kibito Kai teleports to them and scoops them up as all 3 sons die with the planet. So either Goku chose the innocent to protect or his brain saw them all as true equals and just grabbed whoever he could for sure instead of leaving them behind to definitely die. Even in Super during the Universal tournament of power, while it was left to goku on earth to find all the best fighters throughout the universe. When he tests Gohan, he literally says to his unconscious kid. I forgot that you were training with us the whole time and are also strong, huh who would have thought. All this to say thank goodness there are all these monsters out there for Goku to defend against. Otherwise, with these characteristics, what kind of husband or father would Goku or anyone who acts just like him be? Of course, in the end, he is just special needs, and his Grandpa Gohan taught him to help those who can't defend themselves and be nice to ladies. Meanwhile Master Roshi taught him to: Work Hard, Study Well, Eat and Sleep Plenty. That is the Turtle Hermit way to learn. We Must Master the Art of Peace in Addition to the Art of War.
