I still don’t quite know what a Logan Paul even is ...
Terrific! Really gets to the heart of Nintendo's appeal. The animist aspect is an element that I never thought about but makes a ton of sense.
Literally subscribed to this channel yesterday after finding that fantastic Spider-Man Blue video. Convinced me to buy it off of Amazon right then and there. Love this place already, keep it up man.

Thank you! Glad to have you here!
Matt’s personal hell is 45 turns of the original Mario Party, but the only mini game is the tug of war game. Great video, as always!

Wow this channel is great.Nintendo is one of those few companies that will make u scream and jump like a kid in Disneyland. (every Nintendo Direct is like Christmas, oh, and SMash Bros Ultimate)
Well, not only did you create another fantastic video but now I feel the need to find a Nintendo Switch and play Super Mario Odyssey.

Thank you very much!
Great video! Nintendo was certainly a big part of my childhood and I think what you said about animism was a big part of the appeal for me. Also appreciated the 'hunt of the unicorn' tapestry cameo. Me favourite series of tapestries! :D

Thanks! I love those tapestries, too. I talked about them in my Sleeping Beauty video, have seen a few in person, and couldn't help but include one here. And I loved your Last Unicorn video, too. Maybe I had them on my mind since watching that.
I remember thinking the N64 controller was awesome when I was in middle and high school and I don't remember having any problems with blisters from it. It was ahead of other systems (at least as far as I remember) in including an analog stick alongside a D-pad so studios could decide what the best input method for their game was.

I definitely got some baaaaad blisters from it back in the day. But mostly I just wanted to make fun of it a little!
Mario: Makes us feel like the Everyday Hero at the Backyard the Legend of Zelda: Makes us the the Fantasy Hero that Never Dies
I loved playing Super Mario All Stars on the SNES as a kid. I had Street Fighter II, Ghouls n Ghosts and Metroid for it too.
Wow I’ve been waiting for this for a while. Thanks Matt

Fantastic video Matt
I just got my wisdom teeth out the first time I played breath of the wild. I swear I don't know what actually happened and what I made up from being high. 10/10 experience

This video is a masterpiece, one of your best works! Btw, Matt, which one is better: Ocarina of Time or Majoras Mask?
@MattDraper

Thank you so much! Damn, that’s a hard question. Maybe Majora, it’s such a one of a kind experience and just the right kind of weird without breaking the Zelda formula. How about you?

I think similar: Majora's Mask is trully one of a kind. Years playing videogames and I have never played anything like it. Plus it's open world is so genius thanks to the 3 days system that helps fleshing out the world, the characters and even the exploration. Ocarina of Time was pioneer at the time but I feel like MM has a design that suits my taste better.

They may make mistakes here and there, but there’s no one else like them!
I know that you must be pretty busy, but I'd like to see you do some videos on Doom Patrol, Saga, Y:The Last Man and Kick-Ass.

While it’s not currently in the works, I’d most likely do Doom Patrol first out of these comics.

Not many company’s tap into whimsical fun like the big N. Plus ditto on your opinion of that god awful N64 controller 0_o
