My work bike is a 2009 Victory Vision with 172k miles on her. Only thing replaced was a starter. It's used for funeral escorts. Yep 172,000 miles. Still running strong.

That's the way it goes with these machines, Doc. I have a 2014 Vision Tour that I de-trunked and it's a workhorse. Yes, the style of this machine is polarizing - it's either love or hate! That's cool, I get it. I just happen to love it. The Freedom 106 engine is one of the best if not THE best big V engines out there. It's great stock, but the potential that this engine has is off the charts. I'm currently at 120/120 with minimal effort. And there is way more there if I want to go find it. It's also the most comfortable bike I have ever owned, hands down. Nothing beats this thing for comfort. Once you ride this bike, everything else feels small. Finally, there is reliability. She just goes and goes. Never breaks, never complains - she just keeps on going. Let the haters think and say what they want - I'm keeping my Vision for as long as I can, because there will never be another like it.

As a Harley owner I loved the victory in my opinion Polaris dropped the ball by dropping this line they should have shrunk it down instead of eliminating it. A good friend of mine has one and has over 40000 miles on it and never and I do mean never had a single issue with the bike

Just WOW, what a bike :) I own a 2010 Vision, had her over 5 years, currently 65k on the clock. I live in London U.K. so stop/start almost every 5 minutes, cornering, accelerating, braking, gear changes, speed bumps..... that's a lot of stress for a bike that's built for the open road. I've just had her top end rebuilt and during my ownership have changed belt & pulleys, had a generator go, regulator rectifier, clutch.....but I don't care about the cost, the ride is just something else...AND THE LOOKS.... I don't think I've ever pulled up at traffic lights without the car next to me winding their window down to chat about the bike...Yeah I get the odd 'old man' comment but I ride for me not anyone else. I will ride her until I either drop dead or can't lift her off the side stand :)

i had Harley electra , Honda Goldwing , BMW R1200 LT and now Victory Vision . electra is from far the worst of the 4 engine is cool ... but you feel the weight, Golwing is a very good bike , you do not feel the weight but i had little emotions riding it , engine is too linear ... electric bike. BMW has a good engine , lower weight but BMW service's price is a joke. I put Vision in 1 , engine is great (put stage 1 directly for exhaust sound) protection is just incredible, this is from far the best bike for road trip with "Madame" in the middle of the winter. The look is strange at the first impression , but the more you ride it the more you'll love it .

Got the chance to ride one and loved it. Still one of my favorites to this day and i have gotten the chance to ride several, including a Ness version. Found a friend of mine one that has had his (used) for a year now and he loves it. As for the looks, i never thought it was ugly? Lol but beauty is in the eye of the beholder... right? I would look serious at one if Indian motorcycle came out with a new version.

I've driven my nephew's after making fun of the looks and wow! It handles and drives so well you will forget the looks. The easiest bike I've ever driven. Only one problem that would drive me crazy around town is the noisy straight cut gears on the transmission that comes with a clunk. No big deal on the open highway though.

I commute 2hrs a day on my C50T. I'm 6' 230lbs and it will run 75mph comfortably all day. The bike maxes out at 115mph which I test regularly. Above 75mph the floorboard vibration can get old. You are right on about little maintenance. Oil and filter is all I've ever changed in 40,000 miles. Probably should check my valves some day.

Can't see it. I'd say that the parent company Polaris are more likely to start doing Indians that have Victory hints and styling etc or maybe even a Indian Victory range but now all the dealerships are gone or going then it'd be a huge effort to resurrect the company. I guess they could put them with the already existing Indian ones but still just don't see it. Unless they sell the name and patterns etc of course which is always a possibility.

I can't relate to what he says about getting used to the looks. I mean, I've always liked it from the start and the more I look, the more I like it. Victory spent a ton of effort into it's design so not only would it stand out, but it would be functional. I watched a demo where they showed off the features of the bottom floorboards, you can't tip the bike all the way over. They did that because it's so dang heavy that it would be really hard to stand back up, but as it is a small person can tip it back up without too much trouble.

Hi EVERYONE reading this... I need some help. I currently own a 2018 GL 1800 is an unbelievable motorcycle BUT my wife hates it. She loves my old 06 GL1800, but that bike is gone. I'm considering this bike. Shaw is absolutely right about the looks of this bike on min 0:58. I was one of them. Now, I test rode a victory Cross country and I didn't like it much, the transmission was like from a tractor, poor handling (IMO). If I jump and buy one of this bikes and I don't like it, it will be hard to sell because there is a very small market PLUS the fact that I'm getting into a dead brand. What do you guys think.? There is one locally in mint shape with 16k miles for $6k. But the KBB is like between $3.5k and $5.5k. I know this values are a reference but some people take them as if they were coming out of the Bible. Lol. Which will make this bike very hard to sell if I don't like it. I am looking at a bike I can settle with and tour and my wife likes for a decent amount of money. Comments Thoughts please.
