However, the scorching heat and sparse traffic leave me with no choice but to hitchhike, encountering only a handful of vehicles on my journey. However, a series of reckless decisions soon lands me in a perilous situation...

Do it as soon as you get the chance to! When you go solo traveling you always end up meeting locals/travellers on your way, you’re bound to meet strangers on your journey and some of them ultimately become your friends 🙌🏼 go go!
