As a PSG fan, all I have to say is Well played! you guys played amazing and pressed us hard which is one of our weaknesses but the red card changed the game. This barca team has potential and I hope Xavi stays and continue this growth.

Honestly lewa has to go, he is way too bad with the ball. He often makes mistakes and loses the ball so often. He also misses so many changes and often makes the most egotistical decisions quite regularly actually. He is absolutely not the right striker for Barca right now. He also rarely scores in the big games

That red card really started the domino of implosion.The team wasn't strong enough mentally afterall, because Barca were still 2 goals up on aggregate. They just had to focus on keeping the lead. But obviously it's also the lack of quality defensively especially without Araujo that made is almost an impossible task. This was the one situation where both Roberto and Christensen were needed to reinforce the defence. And even so, Barca had a few opportunities to get back to the game, but unfortunately the forwards didn't have the composure to cease those chances. I am not sure how to feel, because Barca had a very strong case to hold out against PSG with 11 men. We were just beginning to see how dangerous Lamine Yamal was on the right flank during transitions. Again, he was the one who set up the 1st goal of the game. The midfield of Gundo Frenkie and Pedri was so lacklustre and disappointing because I expected more from them, but again, with 10 men, you're asking so much from a trio who haven't been playing much together in recent weeks. You said it aptly. It's not like Barca were worse in terms of form and quality. It's a case of worst case scenario happening during the game at the 29 minute mark, and everything slowly falling apart despite some chances to keep PSG at bay.

Yep, 100% would've rather let Barcola score, seriously cannot understand the decision from Araujo there, so frustrating. Yeah Christensen/Roberto not being available also hurt. You're right about the domino effect, just terrible decision making from Cancelo as well. Really frustrating man

The worst thing is Araujo and Cubarsi are the only TWO players that mustn't have got a red card. We'd have been able to replace everyone else: Raphinha, Kounde, Cancelo, Ter Stegen, Pedri, ANYONE but him. The problem wasn't playing with 10 men, the problem was playing without Araujo. With him on the pitch we'd have won that game 2:0 and I stand by that.

Xavi should have sent Pedri out instead of Yamal. That night, Pedri was literally useless on the pitch.

Did we outplay psg tho??? Even in the first leg we didn't, we just took our chances bcs psg had more possession than us and the score line saved xavi's ball(💀) BUT in 2nd leg they outplayed us AGAIN bcs xavi thought let me defend the 1goal lead like simeone and give psg the ball to play and we wil defend and depend on counters!. And yeah we scored first bcs of individual brilliance that also has been saving xavi's ball. But still psg was outplaying us and the red card ugh hurt us really bad! Xavi's red card didn't do us any better And question yourself how does fabian,wze,vitinha DOMINATE PEDRI,GUNDO,FRENKIE??? If that doesn't scream the manager has no structure idk what does! Xavi shouldn't have taken off lamine he should've taken out a midfielder even tho we didn't had any control in the midfield and play 4 4 1 defending and 4 2 3 when attacking with lamine and raphinha on the wings! Also the line up wasn't it de Jong and pedri on the field at the SAME TIME DOESN'T WORK (atleast for xavi imo) fermin should've started to balance the midfield!. And bro we have a top 6or7 squad ovr itw rn and we still can't play good football how???😭😭😭 In the future even a top 3or4 imo!!! That's the potential we have!!! Yeah he definitely did. He was looking for that, but Araujo fell right into his trap. It was soft but it was smart from Barcola, Araujo just can't make contact and fall for that. I agree, the Gundogan one definitely should've went to VAR at least

i was mildy positive for us to go through to semi final before that red card. i would have taken that 1 goal from barcola, atleast we would have played with 11 players. And i have been saying this from a long time that Cancelo is shit in covering up those spaces at back. This breaks my heart man. This was lamine's game to shine, he would have cooked if we would have played with 11

There's a lot of hate for cancelo but genuinely he was great in the beginning the red card put unnecessary pressure because now you can't allow crosses into the box so there's more pressure for him to stop any cross at all costs
