How my plans are shaping up, to make Kenya a key wine producing country
Ойын-сауық
Meet Obadiah, I think he is following in the teachings, where water was turned into wine, but this time from the ground up growing grapes with a vision to handhold smallholder farmers to be able to produce grapes for wine making.. See, I wasn't late for the Friday gospel.. I was right on time. Remember to subscribe, as you usher in.. #TheWeekend!

Congrants. Are they with seeds or seedless grapes?
Africa, grow everything you need.
I'm happy to stumble on your videos. I'm Ololade, a grape farmer in Nigeria. Thank you.
Oh wow This is amazing. I had no clue that we can grown grapes in kenya ! Am sold . Obadiah am on your case
Great job Obadiah, the sky is no longer the limit. Your story is that of resilience and sheer determination. Go go bro
I recall a Priest who started the oldest winery in Kenya (Meru County) saying that the demand for wine is huge. The winery supplies all Catholic Churches in the region and Italy. He cannot get enough grapes.

Add apples to that list - South Africa mints millions from us!
I was talking with my friend about farming in Kenya. I asked why can't we grow olives and grapes? So, I decided check if what I had read sometime ago about grapes growing in Kenya was right. Glad I did. This is an exciting and inspiring story. "Wìra no ùrīa ùtarì mùrute" keep it up Mwangi co. 🎉🎉🎉
Now I understand why Vusi Thembekwayo said what he said... The content from this channel is just on another level.

Wow this is an education you can not get in many places. Very well explained and detailed. He has even created a manual on growing grapes in Kenya. Hopefully he can get other farmers around his area to at least set a side an acre of land and grow grapes. This would transform their lives.

@@mwangigachonde4058 …it’s confusing , as I checked the elevation of Naivasha on the Internet, in feet, it is 6,180 feet above sea level, and Nairobi is lower at 5456 feet…do you mean 1500 meters above sea level? Meters, not feet?
@daphneb55

@@mwangigachonde4058 it’s also strange that Nairobi is lower than Naivasha! I have one solitary grape vine which I brought from South Africa, a delicious Hannepoot white grape…it’s struggling to grow in a large pot, and produced a few bunches of grapes which are ripening, about 5 bunches. ( no garden to speak of sadly…)
Black farmer can make it, you don’t need to be somebody’s farm laborer
I'm in interested in seedlings of wine, and table grape... i will contact the number to know if he can ship to Lagos Nigeria, and hopefully we can get some training and idea on how to set up such..
