Wild Growth DOES WORK. I washed my hair and I realize the length of my hair in the back is short. I don’t know how this happened but I’ve been mulling over what did I do wrong. I’m going buy this oil tomorrow. I guess I shouldn’t be too hard on myself because it could have been worst. Thank you for the information.

Mine happened as well… I thought it was from the scarves I wore all the time but could have been tension as well.. but I hardly put my hair in a bun now and it’s not growing as fast just within the last month I have been trying to baby it more and think I see some progress but not sure! ☹️

Your hair grew back so nicely! Thank you so much for sharing this part of your journey with us. It is helpful to know that it took months of consistent attention to the nape of your neck in order to see the growth you have now. There are so many videos on KZread where people say that they're able to grow their nape hair and edges back in days or a couple of weeks - which can really be discouraging to those of us who need to wait-out a treatment a little longer in order to see if it works. I'm hoping that with consistent care I experience the same results as you! ❤😘🙏🏽

AquaSun 11203 I’m glad this was helpful! Yes I agree! It’s just not realistic for hair to grow back in just a few weeks, sometimes even a month (especially if it has been a problem area) 😞 but yes like you said with consistent care and patience, it’ll definitely grow back 💖

Thanks for being honest about this! I’m experiencing the same thing in the same area of the nape of my neck as well. Where there is breakage and I can hide it well when I wear my hair down. But the half up half down style.. it’s like a invert the middle. You know how your hair is supposed to be in a V shape in the back? Well mine looks like a W lol. I’ve been using growth oil on that spot. This video really helps and is so relatable!

did you buy your jamaican black castor oil from target? and would u recommend i get the extra dark version instead of original? sorry i have so many questions 😥 also, i want some wild hair growth oil but i hear it makes your hair fall out so i’m really scared. what do you think i should do?

Alexis A hey love! 💕 That’s okay it’s good to ask those questions. I bought mine from the beauty supply store but Target does also have it. I’m honestly not sure what the difference is between the dark and original castor oil. When I used the wild growth oil on that spot, it didn’t seem like I was seeing growth for about 2 months then suddenly I kept using It and noticed my hair was growing back. So I haven’t experienced any fall out with the wild growth oil. But everyone is different so It may have different effects on everyone.

Hey love. Braiding your hair won’t necessarily make it worse. As long as they’re not too tight and your hair and scalp is moisturized it should allow your hair to grow back since you won’t be touching it often with braids.❤️

There are multiple types of alopecia... One is called 'tension alopecia' which is basically what happened to you. There was too much tension and manipulation of the strips which caused the fall out. Other people may get it from tight sew-ins etc. An different type of alopecia is when someone's chemical makeup is changing i.e medication, illness etc. So it's internally.

Actually alopecia means hair loss which is what she had and if it was due to the ponytails and the Buns it would be called traction alopecia. Her doctor was wrong in telling her it was not alopecia. The redness could also indicate a different type of alopecia which involves inflammation. Happy that the hair has grown back though I feel it would have grown back with or without the use of oils. She did what she needed to do and that was to discontinue what she was doing to her hair in the back.
