Like they were evolved to? Man, please stop making emotional statements if you don't know a thing about Beta fishes. Beta fishes are very territorial and aggressive fishes. The only time the males live with other Beta fishes are during mating and the first few weeks of delivery. In other times, they live in small mud holes or holes in ponds. They live in 'dirty'(by that, I mean unclear water bodies like the ones in our local ponds - dark water) water bodies in darkness.

Normally, the vast majority of Beta fishes(not this one, the wild ones. These ones can't even survive a day in the wild) die at very young age brutally. Living in that aquarium might seem like a prison but for them, it's a heaven since they don't have to fight for territory, mates, food, and are also very safe from predators

@@virajsingh6540 There are different types of fishes. Some fishes can live in darkness deep under the sea. Some fishes live in dark caves filled with water. This is fancy aquarium fish. It has eyes. This type of fishes live in bright light. Similarly in the plant kingdom as well, we can find many types of species which thrives in darkness. But that doesn't mean that you will keep a Mango tree or a sunflower plant in the pitch black environment. Moreover taking about space, these fishes live in aquarium, which is quite a big in size compared to their own body size. A fish can easily swim from one side of the aquarium to the other. But that plastic pouch is too too small for even its little movement.

Par uss pouch me ek fish bowl jitna bhi pani nahi. Upar se sealed hai. Fish bowl ya aquarium upar se khula hota hai oxygen exchange keliye. 2) Thode time ayse rahega kya matlab hota hai?? Tereko 3 din tak ek pitch dark room me limited oxygen supply ke saath bandh kar du toh chalega? Agar kisi zindagi keliye dil me thoda sa bhi karuna nahi hai toh apne aap ko insaan kyse bolte ho!! Tumlogo keliye insaan ke alawa baki sab living organisms ka value object ke jitna hi hai na.

while packing the fish they put the fish into 2-3 bags and put them in a small box filled with newspaper or thermacole so there cant be any hole in the bag, even if there is there is another bag to save it :D
