Thanks for sharing this! I love transparency about what it's like running a small business! I'm a photographer with my own business and there is so much behind the scenes that people don't see or even realize. I think making our journeys as small business owners transparent is super important so others see and understand the struggle and the hard work we do. Thank you for sharing this. It’s not what I was expecting, actually never gave it much thought but I always hoped that you would be compensated well for your time and creative content. I realize now how awesome it is (and how heavy it must be for you) that you don’t “sell out” to all the ADs some creators do, and we’re not seeing 10 ads in a 15 min video. I appreciate that a lot and it’s one of the many reasons why I follow you. On side note, that video with your cousin is one of my all time fav! Keep up the great work and wish you all The open doors 🚪 and sky is the limit for your growth!

I just wanted to say this is so helpful in creating realistic expectations for others about making money on social media. I'm a fine artist, and people probably assume I make way more than I actually do. To keep it light hearted for myself, when I make a sale, I celebrate how many banana splits it can buy me 😂 I don't actually get them ever lol, but it does keep me from getting too focused on the money side. You're right, it can be hard when you aren't making a livable wage and you put so much heart into what you do! Although I have been sporadically following you for a few years now, since COVID I think, I'm now at a place where I want to finally start exercising more and you were the FIRST person I thought of to help me with this, so I'll be jumping onto that beginner video soon! Thanks for sharing this, it's inspired me... I think I will share about my financials as an artist soon!
