Congrats Chanel!! I’m new, deaf disability. I started month doing Let’s Play gaming playthroughs from my stream Twitch vods entertain enjoyed lot. Yeah 1:45 i noticed shorts doesn’t effect watch hour rate, just content video. But use remix shorts little help works ^_^

Is there a free way to create and edit a KZread short where you can add text etc? I have been creating videos using the program that came with my mac… but I don’t know how to make a vertical finished video

I had the same when I was eventually monetised - It took me 3 years and I also so far am making about £20 but its great fun and I love to make my videos anyway so its all good

once you applied to the YT partner programme how long did it actually take for you to be officially monetised? (i know you said Nov 14th but how long was the wait before hand..)

i notice that the views for your shorts are included in your overall views count...subtract those views from your overall views count to get a better idea of how much your making...bcuz from what i see, the majority of your views are coming from your shorts videos.

sorry also im really confused; dont you have to make $100 dollars per month on the googleadsense (adverts) before even starting to earn money so your $23 didnt even count/you didnt technically make any money because you didnt meet the $100 ads requirement?

Yes, but the $23 doesn’t expire I just didn’t get paid until I reached the $100 minimum!

@@mimimartins Of course! And you do not need to hit $100 befor receiving the pin, I got my whole account set up and ready to go before I hit the $100 mark!

* shorts has its own watch hour and earning and do more shorts to drive traffic to longer videos by giving a link in the comment section so that audience can watch the more extended video version
