youtube growth is strange cause like it took me 2 years to get to 1,000 subscribers but then two weeks after i hit 1k I got 2k and now I have a little over 5k but some of the creators I know gained 100k in a week

I'll be honest, I found my way here via the videos you have done about your KZread channel, not from your vlogs. Our channels and target audience couldn't be more different ~ BUT ~ you have made me feel really motivated and inspired - that is something to be proud of, and I just want to say thank you so much for your help! It has allowed me to understand what I need to do to achieve my goals. I love this; you come over honest and sincere. Other than for a few videos for family and friends, having them follow me on a 16-month bicycle adventure, I did nothing with my channel until mid-January this year (2022), when I started helping people with all forms of self-publishing. From low content to tens of thousands of words, I am an author and indie publisher. I seem to be following a similar pattern as you. I have the week, reached 1k subs, and I'm thrilled. I didn't think I'd get that until at least a year of uploading. I'm still a long way from monetization, but it will come. Well done. Steve

I love this realistic take! I have been watching a lot of these types of videos lately, and you are the most down to earth and genuine. Subscribed! I have been having a lot of growth on my channel and might hit the requirement for subscribers in less than a week based on how it has been growing! I have had enough watch hours for a while because my channel is my music (and sometimes ambience). It is really exciting, and I truly never thought this was possible to even make more than 200 subscribers on this channel. It felt so far out of reach for so long. Obviously have a ways to go, and need to get approved, but these videos make me so excited for what might come. I had a break like you. I think I had less than 50, and was kind of burnt out with it. It was more of a hobby too. I didn't really think anything would happen - though I had that little hope like everyone does haha. Then I came back in January with new, improved software to make better sounding music, and really fit what my vision was when I started out. Looking forward to more of your content! Thanks for a great video!
