This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my KZread channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 879 subs and > 600 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

@@KatjaNordkvist Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my KZread channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a KZreadr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this KZread thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! Thanks for sharing your story. Congrats on being monetized so quickly. My story for those wanting to hear other people's story. I did KZread for about 2.5 years without successfully becoming monetized (but I do have 1348 subs, 2128 watch hours in the past 365 days, and 5661 lifetime watch hours)I threw in the towel in Aug 2022, but plan to restart in 2023 for a while to try and get monetized again 🙃

That's exciting! First of all, I had no idea English wasn't your first language. Funny, as I type my wife is flying over the Atlantic Ocean right now, returning from a trip to Finland. I'm leaving shortly to meet her. This is one of the best examples I have seen about beginning KZread monetization. I've subscribed and will be looking forward to watching more.

I will do another one as soon as my channel has been monetized for a year, which it has been in just three weeks. I definitely also believe in quality over quantity when it comes to the videos I upload and I think most people on KZread can succeed with their channel if they’re willing to put in the time and effort and remember to celebrate the small victories along the road. That also helps on the motivation! Wish you all the best 🙌🏼

For me it was not only the bookcase. It was also the esthetic of your design and the colors you chose in the room.

Your story reminds me of how a 50-something-year-old woman named Jen (Silver and Co youtube channel) got monetized in 10 weeks! It IS possible!

You’re welcome! I think what I meant was that you can create your AdSense account before you apply for monetization, if that makes sense 😅 so you’re totally ready to apply for monetization as soon as you hit the requirements 😊

It’s super hard! It can take a long time 🤍 I got some great advice from another video recently which is everytime you make a new video you should focus on making that video 1% better than your last video. That has really helped me to accept that my videos don’t have to be perfect, instead I can focus on learning from past editing mistakes and enjoying “the ride” while I create content that I genuinely love. I hope this helps!

I just got monetize on youtube but I’m stuck on the google Adsense in progress part been on that for about a week now .. any advice on that

you made an error, you don't need to reach both targets 1 subscribers 1000 and 4000 watch hours within a year. You only need to make the 4000 watch hours within a year... the subcribers could be from 2 years ago. It doesn't matter...
