Your sister is so right about being gifted a child when/if it's right for you! I would have been so happy to continue my free life of travelling but my unplanned pregnancy last year still felt absolutely right. It took me several shifts in perspective to get to a point where I even wanted kids at all (I'm 33). Live the life that makes sense for you now so you regret nothing if/when that change comes. And thank you so much for your content - I experience Thailand vicariously through your videos while I'm here at home in Kenya with my baby :)

Just want to say hi and subscribed! Loved your channel which I only found when searching for Hanoi as I'm visiting in Feb 2023. The street food video is good, and Halong bay cruise is honest Fell in love with you two and the chemistry, and probably because I'm also ex-Canadian (UW at Waterloo/Mississauga) and now moved back to Taiwan (great choice) for family and kids I can relate so much, snow, Timmy, Swiss Chalet :) but there's no fooling me (since I'm Chinese) - Flora looks 100% Chinese and Note 100% Thai It's never easy to quit a job to pursue your dream, so kudos to Note for finally doing it. I work WFH with odd schedule too but WFH is so good with stable income Keep up the great work and if you ever visit Taiwan I'd love to treat you guys Sadly, Taiwan isn't too high (nor friendly) on most Foreigners' list vs. Thailand/SE Asia, too bad Lastly, I don't mean it offensively, if one day you have a child and the family gets bigger, your life will change, different for sure, but hopefully better in different ways too I'm happy to have a 2+2 family that seems "whole" and I love to bring them to see the world with me, that's what I can teach them, and pass on my legacy Happy New Year, and stay safe and healthy

Note, I expect a lot more B roll from you now that you're full time KZread. 😉 Impressive working those hours all those years. I worked 5 months just a couple months ago remotely in Thailand while traveling but also had to work US hours. I would work 8pm-4am. It obviously killed my weekday evenings. I would go straight to bed after work, wake up around 11am-Noon and then spend my afternoons exploring Thailand. On the weekends, I would wake up early and stay up late until Monday. It was certainly ruff the first few weeks but then just became the new normal. I came back to US for 2 months and will be back in Koh Samui in 2 weeks working the late hours again. ANYWAYS....what I'm trying to say is that it's all worth it. I'd rather be working night hours and experiencing Thailand/SEA than working day hours in the US lol

We agree working those hours are worth it to stay in Thailand. We're glad we have this second option to work for ourselves and still live in Thailand. We'll work hard to keep the dream alive!

Dillon is a diabetic therefore they as a couple need to adopt a heal lifestyle. Best to practice prevention than cure always.

Haha he loves the double leg dinners there 😆 We're lucky the air in Koh Samui is clean! That's one of the reasons we moved away from Chiang Mai - smokey season was too much for our respiratory systems.

I fully agree that the universe will provide what is meant FOR you, regardless of the path you choose. Following inspiration and what excites you is the best path! (rather than focusing on lack)....and also feeling acceptance to what comes. I would never want to have children with someone who was not longing it like me, bc it is sooo much work-also very fulfilling, but if you are already fulfilled, then doing the work of parenting without an equal contribution from a partner who is less interested or less wanting to help, would be so draining, building resentment. We had a vasectomy after 2 kids and still had one more blessing, so it really taught me acceptance and trusting what the universe brings. We gave up travelling to have a family at 30 and it's sooo fulfilling but we are again craving travelling, such a different experience planning it with 3 kids. Lol. Congrats on your success and joy and best wishes on your new adventures!
