@@matthewrobinson6297 You’re fine. But artist get all their show money. Show money and royalties are 2 different things. 99% of artist don’t own their royalties which is what you’re thinking of. And about 90% don’t own their masters (which is diff than royalties). I don’t know if you can remember but 21 Savage said a while ago (can google) he doesn’t do shows like that because he doesn’t need to, he said “majority of these artist have to do shows to make their money because they don’t own their royalties and masters I own both.” He owns his publishing (performance and mechanical royalties) and masters, which is why he really don’t tour because he really doesn’t have to. In his deal he owns his masters and 95% of his publishing which is an amazing deal.

I know how much all of these guys are getting a show because my brother books them😂He was booking Roddy from when he was getting 15-25k a show, Roddy did a festival, everyone knows you get a nice bonus for festivals compared to your regular show that's not a secret. Right now Roddy isn't even getting 150 & I rock with his music. He'll be lucky to get more than 80k right now, on a very very good day 120-150 as the absolute max. Someone get him to post his last 5 cheques from shows I'm willing to bet anything he never got more than what I just said. And 120-150 is me being overly extremely generous and it would have to be a special show like fashion week or something.

I know what guys like Roddy, Lil Baby, Yo Gotti, Moneybagg, Travis Scott, Ross, Finesse, Kodak, Leaf Ward, A Boogie which is another one my brother was booking when you could get him for like 7-15k😂 now his price is way up etc... are getting and then the obvious ones that everyone in the industry knows like Drake, Meek, Jay, Ye, Cole, the popular guys everyone knows they're clearing numbers. Don't get me wrong Roddy can do more shows back to back than MOST rappers and consistently clean 40-80 bands right now but at his peak promoters were literally bidding. There's nothing wrong with the decline in people wanting to see him outside, the guy still does stupid numbers across all streaming platforms. He's still on par with big names that are getting an extra push from labels when it comes to monthly streams but it just doesn't always translate into ticket sales.
