I personally actually liked the Roddy album, but he been making the wrong moves pre and post release. The marketing was bad, only 1 single released 5 months before the album, I feel like most people didn't even know he dropped an album. Roddy definitely should consider getting a social media team to maybe manage his social media page, and post stuff for him and what not, because I can tell he is telling the truth about not really having a lot of interest in social media or the internet in general, I know a few people personally who are just like that. His label should have definitely done something help promote his album though, not his fault, he’s still young and has room to grow. And to be honest I liked his album.

Roddy is the victim of his own success. To put in plainly: He overachieved. He makes good hooks and is a great feature artist. I'm not a fan of his music, but his last project was well-received. But, he may not have the content to drop another full-length successful project. Again, I'm not saying he is a bad artist. He is overhyped, though. He should stick to dropping loosies and doing features.

@@LIBryda Right. Opinions are like assholes.... I've been around for a while (pre-internet and social media). There have been many artists who came out hot, but were unable to capture that same success in subsequent projects. They "fooled" the masses into buying into their unproven artistry. Fetty Wap is the most recent example. I actually like Fetty's music, but he was never meant to be an artist who could drop full-length projects. He rode his wave until the wheels fell off and made a shitload of money in the process. The only downside to that is he used up all of his hits. Fast forward to 2022, no one is checking for his music. Roddy will likely follow the same career trajectory unless he goes a way for a while to regroup. The industry cheat code of being "gang affiliated" will only get him so far. He has to produce quality music.
