I was going to say it was a "stubby" Phantom, but I've seen cartoon Phantoms drawn similar to that look in the past. FliteTest needs to build a dual EDF version with drooped horizontal stabs.

Yeah! Would love to see y’all carry retracts. That would be another source for those items. The hobby industry has condensed so much and older guys like myself look for reliable shops for stuff!

I think landing and taking off using landing gear are 2/3rds of the fun flying RC. Any build for me would include retractable for most of the builds but at a minimum fixed landing gear. So a BIG PLUS ONE for LG.

Retracts - yes! Not sure of the sizes but for the master's series and for the mighty mini planes for sure. I just finished the skyfx t-28 and I instantly wished it had retractable gear.

Lucas Crater here. Man, finally we are seeing these massive builds made available to the masses! It’ll be interesting to see how many of these show up at FF 24! I have a request for the next MTO monster. The Scout is my all time favorite FT plane. I’ve done all three sizes, Mini, Simple, and XL. I’d love to have a Monster Scout that uses that 4030 motor and 4-6 cells. Especially now that you have the design for the XL so that the wings are removable. Please, please, PLEASE!

This is my favorite build from you guys. I can't wait to build the big one with an actual thrust venturing EDF. I have a spare Flex Innovations Flex Jet thrust vectoring unit and the Flex flight controller. All I need is a 10s 90mm EDF to attach to the Thrust vectoring Nozzle. I bet it will hover just like my Flex innovations Flex Jet hovers if I keep the build light. I'm stupendously excited.

Great Video Guys. One comment...I'm sure you know this but from my experience roughing up the area of glue joints on CF makes a big improvement to strength! Especially when making fillet type glue joints. Keep it up! Watch all your content I can.

I think you should build a SUPER supersized Kraken and power it with a couple of monster EDF motors with differential thrust but try mounting the EDFs far out on the wings for the maximum offset in thrust

Well, I have no idea why KZread thought I needed to see this but it was definitely a lot of fun. I didn't even roll my eyes too hard at "5200 milliamps" (which is presumably amp-hours and not actual amps?) because I know that the idiotic redundancy of "one thousand thousandths" is how LiPos are marketed. The sponsor segments were pretty smoothly inserted too; I appreciate a video that is well made *as a video* and not just an insight into a hobby. Although I confess I did guffaw a bit at the pronunciation of "mocha" as "mow-cha." But that's just more ammunition for my argument that English needs to lose the letter "c".
