I appreciate this video dude! Im going to order one of these for the top of my 4runner for a road trip this summer. I originally wanted it bc its length is perfect to NOT cover up the sunroof if I have it all the way back. But Im also seeing a lot a good reviews for it. Didnt know it was a Thume offshoot either. Very good video, this was the one I was planning on getting for a chevy trax. The only thing I'm sorta worried about is the antennae being in the way since it opens from the back but I suppose moving it more forward would solve that.

This it’s a really good video. I bought one but it’s still in its box I haven’t even open it but when you say it burns lots of gas. Have you gone on your trip and how much more stops you did of gas?

Thank you for the video to help me decide on purchase. You mentioned it doesn’t have much of a noise issue, what about the difference in MPG? Have you tried to calculate that? I know it says you should only have about a 100 pound load in it.
