What about the valve guides? As i understand they will fail 99% of the time at some point and are quite expensive to replace.

Thumbs up and great video as always Marco! The F355 is definitely my favorite Ferrari. I do want to ask you why Ferrari went away from the cinquevalvole? Was it too expensive or simply unnecessary in order to make such great HP numbers...or both?

F50, F355 and 360 all had 5 valve. Ferrari did not need the added complexity to gain power in future models due to massive step up in engine displacement.

Great video and pretty car Marco! The F355 is definitely on my top 3 fav Ferraris!

Oh how I wish the belts were every 4 years!!! In the UK Ferrari recommend a belt service every 3YEARS! In the states it's every 4 years. For the same car???? I think we Brits are being ripped off! Anyhow, got shot of the 355 6 months ago for a 456. Belts every 5 years and no engine out! Fanbloodytastic! Thank you for your wonderful vids (I even enjoyed the ones in Italian!). Keep up the good work and keep enjoying your lovely 355! Cheers from a (very cold) Otford, Kent, UK.

Hopefully I bought mine with a major service with the engine out done before my purchase, my pockets are fine until summer 2023 😀

what do you think about the 612 scaglietti? the prices now on used vehicles are around 60-70 thousand euros

I've always been a great fan, it's so underrated! V12, comfort and 2+2, I think it's truly worth it the current market prices

So cheap over there!! Here in Australia now for a manual F355 it's the equivalent of €150-220,000!!

In that garage ... I wouldn't be able to get out of the car!
