@@burblebineabbletv They picked that card for him to do that with because it means something like Goddess of Turnabout, like to gain the advantage from a position where it seems impossible to do that. Comes up a lot in Phoenix Wright, a.k.a. Gyakkuten Saiban.

they arent regular drawings. they are rare cards as drawn by mokuba :)

Kaiba's a card collector, he knows how strong cards are which is why he made fun of joey alot, Kiaba...if he REALLY wanted to could probably make a version of everyone's deck...and torment them with the best version of thier decks with yugi being the only person who could turn it around, cause its yugi.

I really appreciated this series of videos. Im currently in the works of a hypothetical where domain format rules were applied to the Battle Tower four way duel. Building Kaiba's deck was stressful in the monster department since i chose Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon as his Deck Master because of how the turn order would be changes by highest ATK Deck Master, i needed to get as many Light and or Dragon monsters as possible, and my god does he not run many in his deck, so the brief cases really helped.

Fun video, as per usual! Hey, I just started making custom cards on photoshop, so I was wondering if you'd like to collab sometime for these videos where you don't have a good image for them? (like anime/theoretical cards). It might be a fun thing to do and it would make the visual material more interesting :D

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Gyakutenno Megami the card Kaiba used to stop a gun from firing on him in the sub?

I know Kaiba has another briefcase with his prototype duel disks, and I'll definitely give that one a look. I'll have to look through the other series and see if anyone else had a briefcase!

maybe joey pulled the dice cards from the fictional packs he opened when he drafted with duke. just a theory but those packs might be very valuable. some of the strongest level 4s in main characters decks are 1500 atk or lower but those packs has overdrive at 1600 and limiter removal which even keith didnt have

This isn't really worth of kaiba deck. Pretty sure kaiba suitcase has more than one layer of YGO cards

I loved the way you explained the idea of the briefcase having layers with everything else is Dark Bat, that was funny. Even if there were more cards underneath Kaiba would have the most valuable on top anyways.

Pretty good video, while I know there's no way to confirm the frequency of other people's cards makes me think kaiba intentionally assembled significant proportions of decks he could see himself going up against. Maybe the joey cards were kaiba expecting him to lose several times and some of his cards ending up in the decks of finalists

Not necessarily. That was an average of prices I found based on sold copies, TCGPlayer Verified Seller listings, and eBay Listings. Some were listed significantly lower than that and some were purchased for significantly more. And that one was a bit more difficult because a good portion of the listings I took into account were conditions other than Near Mint, so that average was also fluffed a bit to account for a Near Mint copy of the card. I Ultimately wouldn't put it past hard-core collectors to spend that kind of ridiculous money for rare cards, but I'm also going to judge them for it 😅

Man, Koji Nagumo (The guy Kaiba offered these cards to.) could've made out like a bandit. Also, lol the one cent Dark Bats.

I mean, he basically did. After getting blasted by Obelisk, Kaiba walked away while Kojo laid on the ground with those rare cards falling around him. Might be a little under Near Mint though 🤣
