A Japanese company now owns 7-11. Their packaged goods have greatly improved and even in Hawaii are very affordable and freshly made.

It's a shame because cheese is one of those few Japanese products that are often mediocre compared to the Western counterpart.

I'm still wondering how the crappy starbucks supermarket coffee is like 2.50 euro in my country but somehow you can drink amazing espresso in Italy for like 1 euro. Regular Starbucks coffee is like, ok not that bad but the canned stuff sold around here is nasty. I never see anybody buying these cans so I hope they go out of business.
