Real talk. Thanks for the video showing folks that they'll do pretty well, but not $200k a year at a starter company. I netted $50k while I was out OTR flatbed at a starter company in the full year I stayed there.
@weirdkindofsexsymbol

@@brewdog8568 $50k net (not "gross") is about $962/week, which seems about right for a first-year driver working for a big starter company, and for one who hustles. At least from all the folks I've talked to whom I believed to be for real. $750 net a week works out to be $39k, and for that, I would not have done it. This is for hauling general freight with no specialty, such as over-sized, glass, etc., and it's just my own experience.

Working out of a starting otr company I made about 1k each week. Working with a flatbed company I can make around 1.5k while hauling less loads. Also the percentage pay isn't that bad. Though I wish my company had a cpm option like ats. But I also get to be home almost every week so. Gotta give and take I guess.
