I spent a whole day trying to find the best local food in Kutaisi with a budget of ~25 Eur. That's around a single restaurant visit in Europe.

    @@backpackerfelipe Okay but communicaton with locals is possible? Because i´ll be in Kutaisi soon and trying to figure out what to do.

    @@konrad5609 they know some English basics, so I could hop on buses easily, ask for a bill in restaurant or buy anything in the local market. They do speak very good Russian (due to historical influence) so I could speak Slovak (my mother language) and we understood some words. But even without Georgian language you will not have problems going around the city :)

    @@konrad5609 it's not really a big city. Besides these food stops I recommend Bagrati, Geleti cathedrals, the Green Bazaar, taking a cable car from centre to old theme park and generally just walking around the main square 🙂
