Im looking to price out a full PPF install on my new Model X, which I still don't yet here in Florida. My 2018 Raptor had Xpel Ultimate it started turning on the edges like a cream color after 4yrs. other than that the self healing is amazing on it, went off roading many times and the tree branch rashes would disappear with in 30-45min. The cost of the Raptor was 7500.00 in 2018...im assuming it would cost less for the Model X, since 40% of the vehicle is glass..Thanx for the video and your time in creating it and of course educating us. does the paint protection film (in satin particularly) hide existing light paint imperfections such as swirls or does that require paint correction prior to wrapping?

How can I find the exact color wrap that my car has. I just want to fix my oxidized roof

You can always find cheap, but a quality paint job will cost you well over $10,000 on a mid sized vehicle. PPF/wraps are not for everyone, but with todays vehicles costs and repair costs rising, the need for these services is only increasing.

Wraps should last 7 years easy had mine on my roof since 2014 and still looks as new .. based in uk

I appreciate you making the video but dude why would I pay 5k for a temporary 2 year paint job… non sense.Get a paint job and take care of it and it will last 5-10 times longer.

Jesus I was thinking of wrapping my.New car but never mind rather go back to the dealer and trade it in for another color. Wrapping going to cost me a leg or arm 🙂

The film protection is way too expensive. Where is the logic spending the cost of a total repaint of a car just to prevent a total repaint of the car ?

@@AdonisDetail that's to his point... that it's way too expensive. a rock chip just needs a $40 touch up paint pen. instead of spending thousands of dollars on vinyl.

Paint it,what’s the point in wrapping,common sense is to paint it

so essentially wraps equal or more expensive than paint and doesn't last as long.

Lots of downsides to repaint, not including the fact your repaint will accumulate scratches and chips.
