Same with rats - many people thought they were cheap pets but they are expensive to keep if you want to treat them nicely!

If my cat appreciated the finer things in life I would spend all my money on him. But he’s happy with a string from my pyjamas and the washing basket 😂

I have a whopping 13 chins all in metal cages and I can only imagine what I’ve spent 😵‍💫 I have no regrets as I absolutely adore them and most are rescue and re home situations 💕

Might be worth asking around locally for people who are trimming their trees and have branches to waste. My mum is a gardener so I've got free branches for the pigs and aquariums from that. Might be the wrong season but worth looking into.

Every Easter this one house in my neighborhood puts out willow branches for people to make easter decor with. I always take some for my bunnies and birds

Hey Emi and viewers. I just got mice and I wanted to know if mice like sand baths, like hamsters and Chinchillas do. My hamster passed away and I repurposed my cage and wheel for mice. I changed a lot in the enclosure to make it suitable for mice first. But I have leftover Chinchilla sand that I used for my hamster.

I've found trying to rehome cages in north east is hard. I have so much stuff that I don't want anymore.

@Emiology have tried but, it seems no rescues near me need cages etc. I have a cage that's a dupe for yours, and unused perspex can't sell it, or find a home for it.???

Grates make it really gross and difficult to clean (the poop will get squished into it) I’d go for a corner litter tray as rats naturally like to toilet in corners

I use either plastikote or yacht varnish to seal wooden items for rats 😊

this is un related to your video and off topic, however no matter where i search i can't find out what's wrong with my pet rats ear, so i really hope you know what's wrong. D: He's a male Harley rat if that helps btw, but there's this weird yellow crust in his right ear, its not bulgy or large, and i'm almost sure its not under his skin, because his left ear has it too but not as much, and just looks like yellow crust that could be wiped out, but upon research i'm not supposed to put anything in a rats ear like a cotton ball or rag, so i'm not sure what it is or how to get it out! please help!

Hello I've 2 female rats probably about 6 to 7 months I got them from someone who could not look after them anymore where looked after great but I've started to notice hair about there platforms in the past 3 days and I'm wondering could that be grooming or is it worse ?? Help plz

Rats do shed a little bit but there shouldn’t be huge amounts of hair
