    The drainage pipe resolves the flooding issue. The aereter is for oxygenating the pond and solar is what powers it since we have no zesco

    If you have a place with nonstop water flowing source ,it would be much simple and easy to farm tilapia . You don't need a pond nice and cost as this.Any form of Mimi reservoir is ok. With good water sources , you can build a fish factory ,no anymore a farm . The only thing to do is go to find the way to lower the tilapia feeds .

    Hi it depends on your stocking density and at how many grams you choose to harvest. Let’s say you stocked 4500 fingerlings,at 12fingerlings/sqr mtr and if you harvest at 300grams you simply multiply by number of fish . So in this case About 1300kgs

    Concrete lasts longer but is more expensive, I hear fish grows slower in concrete ponds. Am yet to see when I try

  • @NefunoKabwe

    @NefunoKabwe

    The drainage pipes are disigned in such a way that there is an overflow at a certain point. Like a sink but of course if quantity of water is too much then you might need to drain properly

  • @NefunoKabwe

    not really because overstocking has its challenges but we put 6000 in one of our ponds. Demand for water was too much and the fish did not grow bigger than in others
