I don’t know where in Dauin this is guys but I have heard in Tunga-tunga Dauin there s a plan of dumping garbages. If you care for your health stay away from it. Also make sure it s not a subdivided lot. Raw lots for example one of the real estate lawyers said it s the mother of all headaches as it s difficult to transfer the title. I also planned to buy a lot in Dauin but ended up buying in bohol. But I am still looking still in Dauin area as I like that area people are friendlier than the rest of the Philippines. Also I speak Bisaya that s why I prefer a Bisaya speaking place to live. Enjoy you guys.

Why should I care? I can't own land in the Philippines. If you buy less than a hectare you will eventually have neighbors you can't control close to you. Even a hectore may be too little if you want a peaceful setting. Don't believe a guy saying a road will be built. Maybe it will or maybe it won't. GET A GOOD Real estate LAWYER.

I wouldn't buy that land unless I know all the factors before buying. The first thing is that dirt road. How ruff is it on your car. The when it rain the road turns into a mud road or flooded road. Also how far away to the National highway is it? How far away till the nearest electric hook up. Norecco II charges you and you will have to buy your own electric poles and wire and install yourself plus your own water meter and water line. It's all a factor. Buying cheap isn't always better. It's hard to get contractors out in far places to build and they will charge you more because they have to travel from their city. I have bought a lot and have built and have had to deal with all these things myself so I do know but I didn't know and didn't do my home work when I first bought a lot

You can't own. Your wife can or you can buy for under the names of your kids. If you don't have kids, you can lease from your wife if it is under her name.

No neighbors eventually they'll be around and start building........
