BMP-3 has a long ass reload for the missile and is massive, both of these issues are not present in the BMD-4. The BMD-4 is a beast, its a shame its so expensive though

that seems oddly cheap, especially if you notice how the bradley and strf aren't too far off compared on electronics quality. If i'm not wrong, finland bought a couple of these vehicles (Strf9040c) back in 2003-2009 something between those years and it cost something around 4million euro. I don't know how much it costs in Kr since i'm not from sweden, but if you compare the quality between both the bradley and Stridsfordon the price doesn't seem too expensive.

@@RockyArmor i think that the reason why the cost is low is the fact that the bofors is like the MG42 of auto cannons, a design that is cheap, reliable and altho not high tech it's devastating, also they use just tuned up scania engines, the same ones you can buy on the civilian market but with bigger turbos and yada yada yada, smart move by the swedes honestly, only drawback i see is the fact that the bofors is not a chain gun, it's basicly a giant AK47 with a 24 round clip, least in war thunder that is.

@@toninhosoldierhelmet4033 and that's one of the big reasons why i love swedish ifv's. but i think the magazine is larger irl since in war thunder it got its magazine capacity nerfed a couple of times if i remember correctly. edit: nevermind, the cv9040c does have 24 rounds, but it's divided in 3 compartments. Every clip counts with 8 rounds of sabot or any other type of ammunitions. It's also said that the carousel counts with 48 rounds.

Смотря каких годов. Просто сейчас пошел акцент именно на качество, так как количество уже не так сильно отыгрывает хотя это все равно было есть и будет одним из важных факторов. Плюс количество обеспечивает возможность компенсации потерь. И к слову тут еще играет подход к военному делу. У США основной машиной пехоты были М113, чья задача была чисто доставка пехоты на поле боя, а пехота уже обеспечивалась всем необходимым для борьбы с бронетехникой. В то время основной огневой мощью пехоты СССР были БМП. Или в США больше ставка на точечные удары в то время как в СССР был акцент на огневой вал. Далее в США отводилась роль серьезной огневой поддержке именно авиации в то время как в СССР большую роль играла арта. Как итог, кто как хочет так и дрочит

Дорогой не значит эфективный, по моему мнению техника вообще дорогой не должна быть, с учётом того как лёгко её могут подбить теже дроны на цену доширака

БТР-80 стоит 3,8 млн рублей, по сегодняшнему курсу 42,6 тыс бачков, новых не производят, все идут с хранения. и вообще на рисунке показан БТР-82А, этот стоил в 2016 г. 30 млн. рублей, сегодняшнюю цену не знаю, но однозначно не 670 тонн зелени

Дорогой потому что там позаботились о выживании десанта и экипажа , а бтр 82 и бмп3 она нулевая . Что показует как относяться к своим солдатам разные страны . В РФ как и при совке солдат это кусок мяса , бабы ещё нарожают . Old soviet BTR for $670k? Cap. I found its civilian version for $35k, and the combat version with weapons should not cost 2 times more. It’s strange that some old armored personnel carriers cost much more than upgrading T72B -> T72B3M 2022. Also, notice for Russia and for export are different. the difference is sometimes more than 2 times.

Strf 9040C is literally a tank but overcrowded

CV9030FIN is also swedish but exported to finland, i think they might have modified it a little bit too

@@olekzajac5948 not even close. One of the best in terms of utility, it’s essentially a commando of the battlefield. Has all weapons. Has thermals. Hydropneumatic suspension, it solves low depression angles issue which most Soviets have. It’s HE shells can be fired every 4 seconds, essentially it’s a highly mobile artillery.

@@su-5727 no, it’s different. BMP-2M is more like super versatile ground assault/AA unit. It’s very good anti heli on top tier, it has a tracking system and AA ATGMs, helis cannot use flares against it. And in terms of ground assault, I don’t have to say anything for BMP-2M. BMP-3 is different thought. It can be AA but it’s role on battlefield is much more of being like a lone soldier. 30mm gun is powerful, it has high caliber HE rounds every 4 seconds, also has tandem ATGM & hydropneumatics, making it one of the few Soviet vehicles to have low depression angles.

Не будем на себя пуха накидывать. У них очень хорошая оптика и электроника. Наши проще в обслуживании. Но в современном конфликте. Есть тот же ланцет. И уже похоен сколько оно стоит.

Bro, its not a BTR-80A. Its a BTR-82A. The BTR-80 has a BRDM-2 turret with 30mm autocannon, whereas the BTR-82A has the traditional BTR turret as seen in war thunder. Gaijin, for some reason, think that the 80A is the same as the 82A, when in reality, they are two separate upfits for a designated chassis (BTR chassis)
