Unfortunately I completely skipped the explanation on why Furina was added to the team, and why it's now considered Xiao best team : Sure you can get a higher damage "per screenshot" with bennet, but Xiao is the only one doing damage in the team. With Furina & the use of VV set on Xianyun (to decrease the hydro resistance of the enemy), the Team as a whole does more damage. Don't focus too much on the "big number" on the screenshots, it's all about the damage done per rotation. Not only you do technically more damage per rotation, but you also don't need to play in bennet circle anymore which is a huge quality of life buff ! Also, some comments pointed out why not using song of days past or noblesse in the Furina team, to gain the maximum damage for the Xiao Plunges : That's definitely a good suggestion, but at the time of recording, I didn't have a SODP set farmed, and was only trying to showcase Xiao best team toward the end (which I failed to explain why, once again). Putting Furina on TOM, Faruzan on Noblesse & Xianyun on SODP would make Xiao do higher damage per plunge, but the DPR (dmg per rotation) of the team would be lower compared to the VV set variant. Hopefully I can showcase why the Furina team is better in the next video :D

After getting C6 Faruzan and Xianyun, Xiao is not even the same character anymore. In abyss it's by far my fastest and smoothest team I've ever played. Feels godly.

Yeah that team gives xiao the highest damage. But if you want the best team damage, then adding furina will give u the best results (she does a LOT of damage off field, and xianyun decreases the hydro resistance of the enemies with vv set)

@@Mixtry425 Depends on the team. If you want to run xiao with faru C6 & xianyun, I would go for fischl personally. If the team is xiao/bennet/faruC6, you could pick Xiangling. But what you could actually do with this specific team (without xianyun), is go thoma C6 (instead of zhongli or an off field dps), so u get the pyro resonnance atk buff and he also will buff ur xiao plunge damage (just don't forget to use an autoattack after every plunge to use the thoma shield correctly).

​@@Mixtry425 No you don't need to put them on TOM cuz Faruzan C6 is already using that set. So for fischl you could go full damage build, and for Thoma C6 you could just give him whatever artifacts gives u the most HP% / ER / HP flat !

Regarding ur thoughts on Homa / Jade, you are right : On the genshin optimizer, in a faruC6/Xianyun/Furina team, when I force a 2p/2p build, I get higher damage with Jade full stacked compared to Homa. It's just that when I force the 4p maréchaussée, I get the highest dmg number for my xiao (better than the 2p/2p option) but that's cuz jade + maréchaussée give way too much crit rate, and I don't have tailored artifact for a build like that. So theoretically, if I had artifacts focused on crit dmg & atk% on maréchaussée, or I had a vermillion set (which I don't, I'm not zy0x lol), Jade would be better, like you said :) !

Personally I would keep going for Faruzan constellations because if anything, you could win the 50/50 and get closer to Xianyun C2 which is an insane boost for Xiao, or lose the 50/50 and get a guaranteed five star on the next banners. Just keep in mind that four stars are never guaranteed, this gacha system just sucks unfortunately.

No it's better to give noblesse on cloud retainer since the new being set DMG increase is not consistent. Faruzan with millieth and furina with usual artifacts.

I don't have Xiao and is on 50/50. Currently 71 pity. I am trying not to pull for Xianyun, cause I really want to get Xiao (he is the main of the one I love, and as a way to simp, I want to use him)

Hope you will win ur 50/50 👍for Xianyun she should rerun before natlan(if it's similar to what they did with sumeru characters), so priority is to get Xiao.

Comedically a c6 gaming still does 3x the damage :'D

In my experience, without c6 faru, my FFXX team was hitting 99k sometimes 100k. But now, even without furina and only xianyun and faru , i can easily hit 100k and with furina about 120-125k. took me 3 banners and 1 free event faru to get to c6...

Well, you have a lot of CR. I advised you to replace the head piece with ATK a good one. If you have 200 CrD, then it is enough because Farozan C6 will give you 50 more CrD. Try this and you will see higher integration 👍

Usually what u want to do is having her on golden troupe with hp goblet if she is c0, and hydro if she is c2. Substats do matter though and if ur hp goblet is terrible compared to ur hydro one, it's sometimes better to go with the hydro one. If u have doubts I suggest to use the genshin optimizer which is a very neat tool!

I think its worth noting that the furina team will be even better once you get xianyun on 4VV

​@@vlday So why did you use VV? Xiao is a hypercarry so I think it makes more sense to use Noblesse on Xianyun or Song of Days Past instead of VV because the hydro dmg from Furina's summons are a small part of the DPR. In any case, trying out Noblesse or Song over VV worth a shot.

Thank you ! For ur question, I will try to showcase that in the next video but just know that it does work & can clear easily. The issue though is batterying for Xiao. You may find urself in trouble after the Second rotation to get xiao his burst, so some workarounds could be putting Favonius Codex on Xianyun & fav sword on furina for example. But it's less comfy to play compared to a team with faruzan C6. Hope this answered ur question !

I'll try to do a run with my old team which had Sucrose with TTDS + Bennet & Zhong li, against Abyss 4.4 !

I think you shouldn't have changed xiyanyun artifacts to VV during furina run since VV is useless unless you play reaction teams. She losses atk from 3.4 k to 2.9k which resulted in reduced plunged dmg during furina run.

I did a bad job of explaining it in the video but the VV set on Xianyun is to decrease the enemy hydro resistance and help Furina do more damage. So you end up having less damage for your Xiao but overall better damage for the whole team (that's why you see more damage being done to Rocky in one rotation compared to the other teams). I could still get better VV artifacts for xianyun to get her more atk stats but those were just Jean pieces that I swapped, as a day 1 test, will be farming more in the future :D

I would stop pulling and hope to get Faruzan on a standard, weapon or later character banner. Four stars are not guaranteed so you might get unlucky & keep missing to get that C6. not worth the risk in my opinion !

It's strange that difference with c6 faruzan was so little. I tryed with my c0 faruzan and friend's c6, it was 100k with c0 and 130 with c6. And yeah, it is more xiao's damage with bennett, but furina also deal damage so overall team with her stronger. I am going to skip xianyun for neuvillette, will try to get her on rerun.

it is not little, you are totally forgetting the overall dmg, eg. a Xiao can plunge between 8 to 10 times, now you do the math: 10 plunges dealing 100k dmg = 1M dmg. Now 10 plunges dealing 130k = 1.3 M dmg. 300k diference!

I would always try to run Xiao with either bennet or furina. So it's hard to keep Zhongli in the team especially if you have faruzan C6. You can always run ZL faruzan xianyun & xiao as u suggested but it will be far from optimal. Personally I would run ZL with Xianyun or Faruzan, Xiao & Bennet.

So I just tried to run Xianyun with noblesse vs VV and I got these results : Xianyun on no set bonus with 3398 atk :m Xiao gets 138755 on his highest plunge Xianyun on VV with 3267 atk : Xiao gets 140282 on his highest dmg plunge Xianyun on Noblesse with 3136 atk : Xiao gets 150763 on his highest dmg plunge Don't take these numbers too seriously cuz as I said in the outro, this is not the best methodology to calculate what's the Damage per rotation & Damage per second of the teams. It's just for fun. What I failed to properly explain is that Xiao best team now is Furina / Xianyun (on vv) & Faruzan C6, because he shares the damage with Furina and it end up being a smoother team to run (no more circle impact) and a stronger damage team (xianyun decreasing enemy resistances with vv for Furina helps the team damage a lot). Hopefully I will do a better job with the next video, where it will clearly show how good this team is in Abyss.

Iirc, NO should also increase Xianyun's own ATK and consequently, her own buff, since her passive doesn't snapshot and always adjusts to changes in the stat that it scales with similar to Shenhe's Quills, Yae's Totems, Furina's Summons and Nahida's marks. On top of that, NO would also increase Xiao's non-Plunge attacks, which includes his Plunge's collision hit with the enemy before he hits the ground (a.k.a. "The Bonk") which in itself is a considerable damage increase for him against big enemies/single target.

So who is good in 4th place? Benny or furina ?plz give the final suggestion...

I would go with TTDS to buff Xiao damage but only if you can guarantee getting Xianyun ult every rotation. In triple anemo team with faruzan C6, you should need around 120 to 130 % Energy Recharge on xianyun. If you can't guarantee that yet with the quality of your artifacts right now, or if you need a little bit more of ER for the rest of the team (on Furina for example), then you could go Fav.

Faruzan C2 & (especially) C6 is very valuable for Xiao as a support, but it doesn't mean you can't run Xiao teams without her. If you really like Xiao and want to play him, you can pull for him even without having Faruzan + In your case, you already have Xianyun which makes it better tbh.

You need your team to be less than half hp to get full fanfare stacks on furina ult.You missed out on a lot of damage

Fanfare stacks only care about the changes to your party's HP%, so the more drastically your party's HP fluctuates, the faster it stacks (ex. Lose 50% HP and gaining back those 50% HP repeatedly). It's the reason Neuvillette can easily gain max Stacks since his CAs and Sourcewater droplets constantly drops him to around 50% HP and healing him back to full health. C0 Furina caps at 300 stacks and gains 1 stack every time a character's HP decreases/increases by 1%, so Xianyun healing your entire party from 50% HP to full already gives around 200 stacks (50 stacks × 4). Xiao loses HP way faster than others due to his own built-in constant HP drain and gathers stacks faster, add this to your other character's HP fluctuation and you'll gather the rest of the 100 stacks in no time. The only thing Xiao gains from being below 50% HP is Homa's 2nd passive that increases the HP to ATK conversion if he's below half health. The reason why OP doesn't deal as much damage as most people is because he doesn't have a lot of sources of ATK buff to fuel that massive 190% DMG Bonus from Xiao's Burst + Passive and Furina's Burst and Xiao's 300-400% Plunge Multiplier. Running 4-pc NO on Xianyun should increase her own Plunge buff (since it doesn't snapshot and scales off of her total ATK) and Xiao's own ATK. Xiao has a truck load of Multipliers on his Plunges and one of the highest personal DMG Bonus buff in the game, so even a measly 20% ATK buff will drastically increase his personal damage.

The VV set is useless with xianyun if your main DPS is xiao! U better give faruzan nobless set and furina mililith of tenacity set and xianyun 2x atk 2x atk ( if u have her segnature weapon the best set for her is the new set Song )

Your team damage per rotation will be lower. If u want ur xiao to shine yeah, but if you want his best team in terms of damage u keep Furina with golden troupe. Check my pinned msg 👍

Zhongli was considered a decent support during the (dark) times where Xiao was so down bad he didn't have a support dedicated to buff him, so the universal res shred of Zhongli Shield + geo resonnance when played with double geo + more comfiness thanks to the shield, ... well that was good enough to have him in the team. Now, it's not the case anymore : Faruzan c6 helps with particule generation, lowering anemo res, providing dmg bonus, grouping, adding 40% crit damage to ur anemo carry etc. She brings too much to the table to not being picked 👍

@@vlday I am only using Zhongli for the shield so that there are no interruption and for a safe run. I don’t really care about the resistance shred. Now that Xianyun is there, I don’t like Faruzan because she takes up too much time and is very clunky when tying to funnel energy. And so the damage buff she provides is not significant enough or worth it for me to play her in the team anymore. With Xianyun, Xiao damage is just that good that I would swap out Faruzan for other values. But if that is what you like you can still play her in the team.

​@@hankocpharung1383 C6 Faruzan fully built for ER with Fav Bow can refill her own Burst without even firing a Charged Attack, and Xiao and Xianyun generates so much Anemo particles for Faruzan you only need to swap in and Burst without the need to use her E skill and CA. Furina also buffs Xianyun's healing output. Pair this with how Xiao mostly spends his time in the air, most enemies won't be able to knock him away nor kill him. The only kind of attacks that would trouble him are giant AoE attacks from bosses (like the Hydro Tulpa), you should be able to run him with Faruzan over Zhongli in most AoE scenarios.

@@youraverageguy4930 Yeah. I still prefer using Zhongli. My Xiao is already doing enough damage without Faruzan. I was using Faruzan with 300 ER and I need to Crit fish to get my burst back. If I don’t Crit. I have to still use CA to refill my burst and it was just so clunky especially since I play on smartphone. Plus most floor 12 has at least one annoying boss.

My xiao does 90k after xianyun and faruzan buffs and this guy doing that without any buff😂. Am I the only one? I feel like I'm the only one with such low dmg.

This is a hyper invested Xiao with some of the best artifacts I got on the account for the past 3 years lol ! Don't feel bad if ur Xiao damage is not that high, but look at it this way : If I hyper invest, these are the results I could achieve, more or less. For some people it's worth (getting all the 5 stars, the weapons etc.), for others it's not. It all depends on you !

Optimizing my Xiao stats for abyss runs where it's not that uncommon to have aoe chambers. Since I min max a lot, I would rather sit at 80% crit rate and get that 10% from xianyun and potentially 8% from abyss cards than overcap, if that makes sense. In the video he is already too high at 95%. Obviously I wouldn't think like this if my Xiao had 60 %crit rate 😅

Why do we need Millelith on C6 Faurzan? Why not Emblem?

Faruzan C6 ultimate procs multiple "E skills" instances, so you can equip TOM on her to help boosting Xiao with a +20% atk. Since Xiao is your biggest source of damage in that team, you want to focus ur buffs on him. The C6 also reduces Faruzan (and the rest of the team) energy need, so you can achieve getting her ultimate on rotation without the help of the emblem.

yea ofc furina also does at least 20% of overall damage in the rotation and thus her buff is rly good...also Xiao scales rly good with atk thats why bennett buff is strong there

He used vv set and xianyun atk fall from 3.4k to 2.9k. so plunge DMG also got reduced there. He shouldn't have changed the artifacts. VV on xiyanyun is useless unless playing in reaction teams.

One thing to take into account is his team was near full health which limits how much fanfare he was able to stack on his first few plunges

Everything on low settings, render at 1.0, antialiasing set on FSR 2 & vsync off 😂 I have aa dinosaur pc so running the game high causes stuttering when I'm streaming or watching twitch/youtube on my second monitor lol

Faruzan is far more important than xianyun for xiao

bro...I have xiao c1+jw spear+vermillion with less crit ratio than yours but still manage to get 110k per plunge(using faruzan c6+tom, bennett c5+nobless, zhongli+tom)... I wonder how you don't reach even 100k

I think vermillion provides around 5% more damage in Bennet teams and getting more crit dmg with faruzan c6 on a pjws is more valuable than on a Homa build

Homa is an overall sidegrade to Jade for Xiao. On average, the ranking goes like: 1. Homa (below 50% HP) 2. Jade (full stacks) 3. Jade (no stacks) 4. Homa (above 50% HP) I've tried using both, and my Xiao starts hitting 130k Plunges and around 10-20k Bonks with Homa against hyper aggressive enemies in the Abyss (like the Eremite Summoners in the current Abyss and the Hydro Tulpa in the previous one) that can shred his HP to less than 50%. This is made even easier to achiever with Furina and Xiao's own HP drain. Against the more non-aggressive enemies like the Ruin Serpent, Jade consistently deals more damage since it's easier to achieve the weapon's ideal conditions compared to Homa. For this reason, I only run Homa when against hyper Aggressive enemies that deal a truck load of damage and use Jade on everywhere else.

I expected 300k with a hyper invested team like this. Thnx for showing, I will have more fun with my Gaming/Diluc plunging who does double your xiao damage

chill, xiao can also do that much with c6 benny but the rotation can easily be scuffed because of furina's application, same thing applies to diluc and gaming.

This is why we shouldn't use Furina for him 😂

His best team is now furina xianyun faruzan c6. I didn't explain it properly in the video my bad, but basically he does a bit less dmg but the team does more damage per rotation, thanks to furina off field dmg

Pretty sure it's easily doable with a C0 Xiao on vermillion set and some vertical investment (xianyun weapon, furina c2, faruzan with elegy etc.)

At C0, not necessarily. At C2 Raiden is significantly better.

you should've used the healer furina so that she'll get 100% fanfare easily, xianyun did not provide many healing to fully maximize the buff of furina

Xiao still gets max fanfare stacks, it's just that I don't have the visual indicator activated (SFX Quality), But I get why it look weird. I'll have it activated for next showcases, my bad !

If you meant why Xiao isn't doing the highest damage with xianyun on vv with Furina, and why his highest number was with bennet, it's normal : in the furina team, instead of buffing xiao even more with noblesse or song of days past, putting vv on xianyun helps furina do way more damage. So you are sacrificing the "big damage number" for xiao, but the team end up doing way more damage, which makes it his best team right now.
