How Much Can We Harvest Before The Frost?

In todays video we are trying to beat the frost. For a vegetable farmer a hard frost can mean the end of a season. My dad, cousin, and I are going to work as hard as we can to get as much picked as possible before the freeze hits.

Good job on getting in as much as y'all could. It was great watching you and your dad working together. Liked how you would throw two and he would catch them. Reminded me of me and my dad years ago. It was nice of y'all to get the hot pepper plants for your pap. Know he will enjoy it. Y'all stay safe and good luck.

@Broyans farm that's really cool seeing Lebanese squash grown for market! In another video I heard you call it "Gouda"? My family calls it "Koosa" the way we eat it is stuffed with precooked rice, meat and peppers then put them into tomato sauce in a roasting pan to cook

Good produce and lots of it for the very last harvesting of the season. Nice bin of butternuts, good eats. Ur so right, the hubbards especially the orange make the best pumpkin pie. I like to mix in about 1/3 rd of real pumpkin for taste. Lile mine dry, not runny filling with thick raw cream on top Those red up downs looked like Thai Bird peppers? I chop them up n cover them with Thai sweet vinegar, last for months in the frig. Your plants were loaded. Do u hang the plants n dry the chilis for winter? Saw lots of small zukes n flowers that would have been great in salads n top of soups Hv a good winter. Got most of my new garden spot tilled up n soil sand compost 20 yds mix 6 inches on top tilled in n ready for next spring

New subscriber here watching in the middle of the night, here in Minnesota. I would buy the smaller zucchini from you in a heartbeat. I didn't get to harvest one in my small backyard garden due to vine borers that killed the plants. How do you prevent them in your fields? Thanks for the great content and all of your hard work.
