How much can I fit inside a Triumph 30L Dry Bag?

So the famous old question... How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? As much as he wants!
The same theory applies here. With the right gear and proper planning, you can carry a ton of gear inside this simple 30L dry bag!

Just found your channel. Very nice intro to video. Nice to see no ear splitting music and a massive logo, and no music in the background when you’re talking. Thank you so much. Great video. I have subscribed by the way.

I've just bought the triumph speed 400 in black, along with the 30L dry bag. I plan on doing some short tours on it, so knowing it can fit fush a large amount is fantastic. I dont like the look of the panniers or top box on the new 400cc capactiy bikes (speed anf your bike scrambler). The bag looks clean and smart and will make a great back rest for those longer jounreys.

Look for bicycle style camping gear. It’s light and compact. If you need a little extra space add a backpack.

Yeah I was able to fit a ton of comfortable camping gear inside. Coming from a fully panniered BMW R1200 GSA I was always use to having a ton of storage so I got lazy and bought whatever gear I wanted. This time around I went for weight saving, hiking style gear and it seems to have paid off. Thanks for the comment!

I used a 50 litre Oxford drybag on a recent trip to Scotland on my 1200XC and although it carried everything I needed (and more) it was just too big. It hung over the seat and if I didn't rest it on my pannier it melted against the exhaust! Been searching KZread for months for suitable luggage options and you've legitimately sold me on the official Triumph one. You should be getting commission :) Thanks for the awesome content. Liked and subbed.

Thanks for the video! The only thing that makes me doubt about this bike (despite the burn effect on the right side), is it’s travel capabilities with luggages/comfort. You just demonstrate what I needed to see! Thanks ! Great job 😊

Hey thanks for your videos, I bought that Triumph Bag, after your first video. Also, what are your tank pads? I can see OneDesign, but I can't find the Scrambler 1200 specific ones?

Anytime pal! I went over the website trying to find you a link to the exact one but the medium size pad looks slightly different than what I got. Maybe they changed it and didn't update the photo. I also found a cafe style one which looks pretty cool. Heres the links... Oh and don't forget try this code it might save you a couple bucks "1D-JONR". Just bought one of these to sit in front of my expedition top box. Was sold after watching your vid 👍 Question 🤔 How do you secure it to your bike ? Apparently you can use some of the strap attachments somehow rather than a couple of bungee's. Cheers 👈

That’s awesome. So I have another video explaining the straps but basically if you take off the seat you will see them tucks underneath the seat. Just pull them out and your good to go.

What do you do for water for your meals, cleaning dishes, etc ? Most of my motorcycle camping require water but lately I've been carrying foods ready to eat like subs, etc , but then there is the issue of where to fit my six pack of beer . Thanks Mark from Maryland

Hey Mark! I thought I responded to this but guess not. I can normally fit in a couple of MRE style meals in the bag. Now for the 6 pack you will need a few extra straps for the top! ….or get a book bag 🤣
